I heard the chant. It sounded brilliant.

I heard the chant... I felt completely indifferent about it.

 

I like it. The first time I heard it I thought it was a little silly, but that has never stopped us before. It has definitely grown on me. I think it could be unique to KC as far as MLS goes. We are the bar-be-que capital of the universe!

I get your ball bustin. Its not about whos idea it was, I just think its retarded at worst, cheesy at best. I rank it right along with that song that MLS mandated that each one have, Don't go start a fight with the boys in blue and white, Lets GO Wizards. It all sounds so prefabricated, cookie cutter, look what our corproate think tank put together crap.

 

Seriously? I think it's hilarious. I just wish I could be there to join in. I sing it at home just for fun.

Yes its cheesy. Its like the song version of the costumes you see fans wearing at a World Cup. You don't have to wear it, but you can still get a kick out of it.

For what it's worth, I thought barbecue sounded awesome yesterday. The drums especially.

 

This vindaloo/bbq chant should become a regular thing, and this is comming from a Texas guy (home of the TRULY BEST BBQ IN THE WORLD) . Nuff said.
