IRC this is also why players shooting in that situation go for height - if the ball goes in row Z - there is no counter

So either you want to score, or have the ball go dead

And decades worth of Old Trafford banners about LFC would have to go in the dustbin? Or at least be edited. ;)

I don't even think he is what people would classify as a "pedophile" based on my understanding of the case.

Ignorance aside, he has accidentally touched on a real problem we haven't dealt with. What do we do with the Michael Jacksons and R.Kellys of the world. People who are horrible but also great, now that being powerful isn't the only requirement to keep you safe from the reality of your crimes.

He went to jail and now he is out. Kelly won't get a ton of time either.

Did I just watch somebody argue that it would be bad if fans called a pedophile a pedophile?

I am surprised he didn't start in with an anecdote about the time he was out clubbing with the lads :ROFLMAO:

That’s what makes it so crazy.

One can come up wit defensible arguments about why Johnson should play again. This was not one of them.

The only argument is he did his time for what he did, and if he is capable of playing football then he should be allowed to.

But with that said, who would want him at their club. His reputation is absolutely tarnished and there is no coming back from that. Any club that takes him on will be made a mockery.

Yeah - brandwise no inclusive club which claims to represent a community can hire a guy like this.

Not saying a nonce should be excluded from all jobs but I think directly association with a consumer brand is just wrong.

And that is a perfectly defensible argument.

    Also true.

How West Ham fans haven't hanged Sullivan and Gold up in effigy I do not understand.

There's a reason not to see Juve ever win the CL for another 50 years.

Frankly, I'm stunned why some of the clubs that got relegated because of Juve didn't outright sue them. We all remember when Sheffield Utd. sued West Ham because of their antics.

I just finally got to watching the highlights of the Watford-Wolves semifinal. Great stuff. And Martin Tyler seemed to be on his game as well.

After Watford's first comeback goal, a truly amazing chip to the far corner: "Deliberate. Deft. Delightful... Duelofeu"

And then after the equalizer: "D-day for the team just up the road. Deeney. Duelofeu"

I think it will be known as the Duelofeu Semi. What a performance. Well worth a watch:

We're all convinced Juve pay these teams to lose through other means. How is it that it always involves Juve? And only in their favor? How? Since 1982 at the very least.

There's a report that the VAR official declared penalty during Juve vs Milan but the main official overruled him. I mean, come on..these things never happen against them.

Even more puzzling, how is it that all these "broke, provincial" clubs keep buying Juve's trash for a premium?

If you want to understand how Italy works, look no further than Turkey where all the templates were exposed.

This is the same thing that was revealed with Conte but swept under the table.

Matches are arranged on a grey market. Then a group of insiders in the squad will put the word around not too try to hard.

This is what Fenerbahçe were doing, but it is often incorrectly called match fixing (i.e. gambling fixes)
