Toronto FC... from worst to first. Jozy Altidore with a huge clutch winner. I don't care for either of them much. But they deserve kudos. My teams can't seem to get there.
Very much in the mold of the San Antonio Spurs a few seasons ago: Was thisclose to winning the MLS Cup only for Seattle to take it away from Toronto. This time TFC wanted it...badly and they got it.
Koln blew a 3-1 lead with a handball at 93:50 of 4 minutes of stoppage time and Freiburg made the penalty. Bundesliga relegation 6 pointer!
Pep playing into Jose’s hands. We tore United to shreds by putting the ball wide and quickly switching play. City are way too narrow, but United lucky to be level. City should have had a penalty too.
Seeing Aguero cheering on from the touchline makes you realize how much talent they have, when someone of his caliber can't even get into the lineup. Anyway, come on United! We need you to equalize… For more than one reason.
Just saw another clip of Jermain Defoe's worldie at Palace yesterday. It gets better every time I see it. There were 2 defenders and 1 goalie around him, and I'm pretty sure not one of them thought he would or could do what he did. Defoe deserves serious kudos. For this one goal. And for his career overall. p.s. I looked for an NBC or YouTube clip of this to post, but couldn't find one that worked. Hmmph.
It's a one-horse league currently. Pep turned a good Bayern side into a regular winning side too. Hope he won't have the same success in the PL.
Not to mention Jose will be gone by the middle of next season 'cause the players will have had it with him.
Jose will be gone by next season for sure He’s losing the plot now after the ruckus in the tunnel after the loss to city
club in tatters if they only had the stability of finishing top four (or five) every year for a decade
Idk if I'd say they're in tatters, and Mourinho usually figures these issues out. But they haven't been good in defense for a while, and Jose's teams typically don't create a barrage of shots to offset defensive issues. Also, Michael Caley's take on Ander Herrera is right on. 939926923488178176 is not a valid tweet id
