    Must learn from mistakes Chiqui

Last 2 stars from the u-17 WC where Fabregas and Adu

They both wanted first team experience and nothing else.

They got it and have not delivered at ALL. Specially Fabregas who won both the Golden Shoe and Ball for the u-17 WC. Lions have not been too kind to the kids.

Youth reserve system is the right way to go.

First off, Adu was very overrated...and i honestly think that Vela is alot better than he was..secondly he had an oppurtunity to go play in Europe, but he messed it up and decided to stay in the mls..which brought down his level even more, i dont see that happening at all to Vela

I think staying in the youth ranks one more year is the right choice.

I don't think you can compare the two, it's not fair considering the two are 16. He does make a good argument that kids that age may do better in the youth divisions first. There have been very few that have been successful in topflight leagues at such a young age. Plus I think Adu went to the MLS for $1 million and sponsor money, that's hardly blowing it.

Thats true, but i feel that if Adu would have ended up somewhere in Europe..he would have grown alot more as a football player..u have to admit he isnt playing the way everyone thought he would at his current age. Vela on the other hand has the oppurtunity of going to Europe..i feel that if he does he will get alot better than if he would stay at Chivas

I agree with you about Adu he has had way to much pressure on him as a 14 year old and hasn't been in an enviornment where he can be receive the proper attention and teaching he needs.

I think Vela should definitely take advantage of this opportunity, but he's not physically or mentally ready to compete in the top euro leagues.

    Stay on topic children :D

Even Vergara admits that the deal is done in this one:
    Vela ya es del Arsenal

No need to explain this one:
    Su papa lo confirma

So basically all that needs to be done is for it to be officially announced by Arsenal. They are the ones that will decide where Vela goes for the next two years. :)

Well it's 500K per year plus his sponsor money. I'm not sure how long his contrat is for.

Well, he's not ready...YET...thats why he needs to start training in a european squad as soon as possible..so that in 2 to 3 yrs he can be a starter in whatever club he stays with. I honestly feel that if he does this, in 3 yrs he will be a great player worthy of mention around the world..same goes for Giovanni dos Santos

What the hell are you talking about with regard to Fabregas? Did i miss the part where he was sent back to the reserve side?

Fabregas is consistently one of our best players is going to one of mainstays of the side for many years to come. And he is still only 18. Just because he scored goals for fun at youth level doesn't make him natural goalscorer at senior level.

all I can say as a mexican is that it feels good to have a good talent represent my country. Wish him the best and hope more players do get the chances to play abroad.
