Can you stop defending him on every occasion? He picked the only one coming back from injury and played him all game. What about Carvajal, Varane, Casemiro, Kroos, Modric? He could play for example Kovacic/Llorente, Theo instead of Casemiro/Modric, Marcelo against Deportivo and thus have more balanced line-ups. It would be a lot easier to integrate Llorente if he plays with Kroos and Modric in the midfield instead of Ceballos/Isco and Kovacic. Resting Bale and Ronaldo was must do.
Sergio Ramos posted a status on his social media accounts after the training session saying "i am ready, and it feels great to be back" after a series of pics saying he's feeling better than he felt all season. No matter how much testing you do, if you ask Ramos if he feels any discomfort or pain and he tells you, "i feel marvelous, never felt better" that's on him.

As well as 92% of all football fans can see that Benzema should not be on the field he plays every game. Ramos the same It is not Zinadine who decide. So because this is in his contract he cannot move nor breath or will be fired. They have diplomatic immunity.... meaning they are 100 % to be fielded. Like Ronaldo mentioned. Theoretically RM is six games away from a meaningful trophy. Thus, I am only interested in those games. The rest of these games are meaningless. Play for a CL qualification, and I'd be really surprised if they were shitty enough to not even get a top four finish. Then again, nothing is far too beneath this team anymore.
