As much as I want him to stay, I’m interested as to what he could become in a team with actual talent and a game plan in attack.
this is only from the Daily Mirror but according to them the issue with Martial's contract is due to the high wages of Sánchez and the impending DdG contract offer are being used as leverage. if true the Sánchez transfer might be even more of a negative than we imagined

You have to appreciate the audacity of Jose taking credit Martial overcoming unnecessary obstacles that he put in his way.
Yeah. The article should read: when I inherited Martial, he was playing well at LM/LW and producing goals and assists and an excellent rate. I was able to fix that by criticizing his defensive effort, benching him frequently and then almost ruined him by refusing to play Sanchez on the right or through the middle, marginalizing the best attacking talent in the team for a player past his best who makes everyone around him worse somehow. Then I un********ed the entire situation when my job was on the line and I did the things that were obvious to anyone watching, and Martial saved my ass... repeatedly.
