I am sorry but how is that better? Isn't a guy who plays less but creates or scores better than the guy who plays more and does the same ?
It will show his impact per minute played, he scores or assists despite not getting full 90 most games. It was same with Nani.
Look at the filter on the left on your image - I have probably posted hundreds of per 90 squawka numbers over the years
I had thought last year was maybe a leftover year of personal issues for him and whatnot, but even then he did have some great spells. But this consistency is brilliant. And he is still 5-7 years from his peak. That 58 mill is looking a bargain. A trinity of Martial, Rash, and Lukaku could be something to behold, especially at their young ages. That front three is something the club could have as a cornerstone for years.
This is why I'm not keen on the likes of Griezmann/Ozil/Sanchez. Bringing in someone at their prime and expecting to be the main man would only disrupt things, would prefer someone younger <24 who can grow with the others into super-stardom.
The benefit of bringing in one of those guys is clearly the experience and know-how they provide: there's no substitute for that. We have a good balance of youth and experience on the team. And if we're talking about winning major trophies now, it's really about getting the best players we can get. Besides, there really is nothing to prevent the club from getting an older to shelf player and at the same time recruit and start grooming a young, promising prospect to replace that experienced player down the line...
Martial is much better at 21 than I was - Thierry Henry www.beinsports.com/en/premier-league/news/martial-far-better-than-i-was-at-21-henry-1/671052 Martial apparently has been named the official Player of the Month. Lukaku was the fan's choice.
Those stats! 😮Here's why you voted @AnthonyMartial as your #MUFC ⭐ man for September: https://t.co/zSkV5zDIhF pic.twitter.com/6sznuM78f7— Manchester United (@ManUtd) October 5, 2017
I voted for Lukaku, with Matic, Jones and even Fellaini not that far behind. Lukaku isn't particularly beautiful to watch, but he's a goal scorer who's been in top form. He started all but one match (as far as I can recall) and only blighted himself with one pk miss (maybe that was in August, not sure) and a missed sitter in one of our routs. Nothing against Martial at all, but Lukaku has been the rock for us.

Martial's recent comments in regards to how he views Jose are pretty reassuring in relation to his long term prospects at the club and the possibility of him signing anew contract when his current one expires. Now that his confidence is back, I'm looking for him now to gain an even bigger role in the team, by making the left side his own in short order. Nothing against Rashford there, but Martial's potential in that position is just higher.
I'm ready to tear it up this season - Martial www.espn.co.uk/football/manchester-united/story/3286579/manchester-united-striker-anthony-martial-critics-forget-that-im-only-21 Pity what he had to go thru last season in his personal life. It always was going to have an effect: not sure that much else should have been expected, especially with how vitriolic and public it all got. Great to see he put it all behind him though and looks to be back to his best. Always maintained last season that a Martial in form was needed for United to be successful and nothing has changed. Still so much to come from him as well.
