I have to say, that Japan didn't win the WC, USA lost it. 2 defensive blunders give Japan 2 goals they never should of scored in the first place.

Our defense was lost at times and that's why we lost this WC.

That said, Morgan is a star in the making, Wambach was great in the air and mediocre (SP?) with her feet, Hope Solo looked lost today out there, which is really weird. And please, somebody tell Carli Lloyd to stop shooting from 30+ yards!

I'm actually beginning to think the US is cursed in soccer and that we simply aren't cut out for this sport.

    Anyone else get this impression?

See this guy knows how to do it...

To be fair the US should have won that match in the first half, the Japanese girls showed great heart taking that win something of which your team is known for, heart. Tough luck.

By the way it's Morgan and Solo for me..... there is just something extremely sexy about a girl that IS sexy and can score a goal like the one she did today.

The US isn't even your team. Go fawn over your own players.

No. I get the impression that our fans think it should come easily and when it doesn't they look for simplistic solutions that aren't solutions at all.

How else do you explain the results of the last few years, then?

Any half-decent team would've at least won 1 of those finals.

I'll gladly let Ninjew take any of our women. However, I'll gladly be taking Nayeli Rangel from his Mexican team.

It was a victory for technical development. Our women's team will be back, with players like Morgan for the future, they'll get better.

Japan took out Germany, Sweden, and the U.S. all more physical sides.
The Men's WC final was the Dutch and the Spaniards, you want to win, you've got to invest in technical development. Which we've started (finally).

Project 2010 should have been named project 2018, because we didn't really start til 2007.

And it may sound off topic, but it's what I got from the WWC.

I'd simply prefer that people like Ninjew go back to Mexico and fix their own country, instead of freeloading in mine.

They seem so proud of their country, yet they don't wanna live there.

    Very curious..

I've got 2 years of Uni left, after that I'll gladly leave. Kind of like how kids from the US go to other countries for their University studies... It has never been my intention to stay here. I will say this, I have never taken anything from this country that I didn't work for myself. Nothing. You don't offend me calling me a freeloader, but before you call anyone that you should try and learn a little more about the person.

Anyway, Wessoman, you have yourself a deal good sir. :D

Brazil and Mexico were better and deeper.

If Brazil doesn't underestimate us, we're not up at half.

If Chandler, Holden are available, Charlie Davies makes better decisions, if Gooch doesn't wreck his knee, if Freddy and Jozy train and play like the next game might be their last over the last 3-4 years, things might be a lot different.

Thank you my good man I am quite happy with my purchase. And consider staying in this wonderful country and don't listen to Master O. We need more college educated people to reduce the overall DERP emissions coming from America.

Thanks for the invite but I'm a bit of an idealist..... I figure I can do some good in Mexico until I either actually succeed or wind up dead somewhere..... I'm also a bit of a cynic too if you can't tell. :D

Dude, that's way out of left field.

I'm giving Ninjew a high five for keeping his cool and another for having the username "Ninjew," downright good screen name.

Well instead of winding up dead ins some Matamoros backalley and/or wasting your youth in some heartless maquiladora, might as well just send your money to Mexico like everybody else does and enjoy all great things America has to offer, like German Beer, Japanese Cartoons, Italian Food, Chinese Laundry, Canadian Bacon and French Fries.

Oh yeah, and MLS isn't so bad either. What say you?
