The USSF is going to need to schedule games for next year whether against WC teams or not. And specially after we get a coach. Would it be better to schedule games against teams who are also in the process of rebuilding? Teams like Canada, Netherlands, Chile, Jamaica, Bolivia, Venezuela? All these teams will be going thru the same process as we are and in both cases will be trying out new players. Instead of being a punching bag for WC teams that starting next year will start using their WC lineups in friendly matches.
I would think full schedule. Nice opportunity in March and Pre World Cup to play top European teams. Hope we take advantage as friendlies versus Europe will get rarer and rarer.
