Please enjoy this handy PDF reference guide to the new forums. Please note a few things...
    • All functionality you love is here, it just may have a different name and location
      • My BigSoccer is now Watched Threads
      • Forum Jump is now Quick Nav (blue arrows on top right and bottom right of page)
      • Etc.
    • Not all the migration is done (old threads)
    • Not all the features are turned on
    • Mobile integration is coming
    • The style will be tweaked
Thanks for your patience, understanding, and eventual enthusiasm.

I had "My BigSoccer" saved as a favorite on my browser: I would click on that and then threads that I was subscribed to with new replies would show up on that page (the one with the newest reply would be at the top and so on). Now, how do I get to that again?

In addition, I loved to be able to go to the last post by clicking on a little arrow that would take me there. Now, I just see the thread title and options to go to its different pages.

The new update seems really confusing.

MY Bigsoccer used to list forums you were following, not just threads. It made it easy to jump between disconnected areas of the site (I had Referee, Scotland, Blackburn Rovers, and MLS forums for example). Is that functionality returning or will it only display threads now?

    +1

This is my preferred way to enjoy BigSoccer.

Please bring back our subscribed forums.

    Thanks!

Watched Threads is not My BigSoccer. My BigSoccer let me see the forums I care about on one page, easily accessible from my bookmarks toolbar.

I follow forums much more than individual threads. Can we have that back?

    Otherwise, looking good!

We will get a good version of My BigSoccer back, using the old URLs my.bigsoccer and bigsoccer/my, don't worry. Need a little time.

So, in other words, the features/interface I am talking about will be back eventually? You just need some time?

Thanks in advance for your reply and interest

Anyway to include a change font feature? Under preferences maybe?

Why did we go with blue just, instead of yellow and gray?

I'm guessing the moderation tools and the moderator forums are still being worked on?

I guess there must be a lot of useful stuff under the hood. Because this shit forum design is totally amateur-hour.

That's good to hear. I really liked how easy it was to jump to forums/threads I used often.

One other issue: I can't seem to find anywhere in "preferences" that lets me say how many posts I see on a given page of a thread (and other similar options) - I had mine set at 20 per page, but now I'm back to the default 10. Is that feature gone now, or just somewhere I haven't found yet?

Is there a subscribe to thread option somewhere?

    My complaints:
    1) I don't need to be alerted every single freaking time someone replies to a thread. I like to know that a thread has been updated since the last time I was there, but not an instance-by-instance account. Is there no way to adjust this?
    2) I set up a panic button, yet see it nowhere.
    3) My ignore list has been cleared.
    4) Where's the trolling smiley face? I mean, if you're going to go to all this effort...
    5) In 20 years, when I'm in a padded room, I know this will be the color scheme for the interiors of my ward.

I was wondering the same thing.....I have no modding ability at this time. I am guessing you are in the same boat?

Well, literally ... I typed that and went straight to my home forum, and the mod options were there.

    I'm just that good, I guess. :D

So where did the EXTREMELY useful list of all forums on the left go? The only thing I can see is the blue arrow thingy which is pretty useless, given it's tiny window size and the amount of mouse scrolling it takes to get to any other forum. In the old style, I could just hit home, or at most home and page down, and click on the forum I wanted, pretty much at any time. Is something like that coming back?? Soon, maybe??

Yes. Click on the alerts button at the top right. When the drop down pane opens, you will see "Alert Preferences" and you can turn off that feature.

Hmm, I'm getting 25 posts per page and I didn't change anything.

    Maybe because I'm a "Well Known" member:p
