I need to decide - the game's 8 PM Pacific Time. Meaning time for food and beer. Pizza? KFC? Taco del Mar? Fast-food burgers? Any ideas?

    I'm getting excited.

So as of now, there is no way to watch this on internet anywhere, right? :(

I'd really like to watch this match, but have yet to find any webcast or anything. And it's certainly not showing on any channels here in Canada...

Check W Player. They usually air all JNT games.

Nah, it never works for me. Buffers every 5 seconds or so for about 1 minute. :(

Man, Internet connection up here in Canada really sucks...

I'll just download it off Clubbox later, probably.

You're a paying member now, eh? ;) Good stuff.

If you want to change your name, I believe you have to contact the helpdesk and request it. Go here: https://www.bigsoccer.com/forum/sendmessage.php

Can someone give me quick few words about Japan's team?

Just wondering, as a USA fan, what to expect.Haven't seen them play in a loooong time.

Here's hoping for a good game.

Something along the lines of this

    -------Kubo---Sato---------
    --------Ogasawara----------
    -Alex------------------Kaji---
    -------Endo---Fukunishi------
    -Nakazawa-Miyamoto-Tanaka

    Not the official team.

Kubo hasn't played for the NT for a long time, Our backline is strong minis Tanaka, We have two very good defensive midfielders in Fukunishi and Endo, Endo's free-kicks are as good if not better than Nakamura. Kaji and Santos are good when playing an attacking role like this, rubbish as wing backs.
Ogasawara links up play brilliantly from midfield to Attck and is a great passer of the ball, Sato is a newcomer, was J Leages highest Japanese goal scorer last season

Ogasawara, Kubo, Ono, Alex, Kaji, Nakazawa, Miyamoto, Tanaka would all be usually in Japans starting line-up anyway

Endo, Fukunishi would probably be on bench in japans full team, Fukunishi seems to be in front of Inamoto just now so he might have been in our first team anyway

The 3-6-1 still gives me a bad memory from the Turkey game in WC2002... I still think that if Japan went with their usual tactic, they would have won.

Anyways, are you going to be doing play by play, Gamba? I'd appreciate it since I can't watch this live...

well I think if Koji didn't pass to Turkey..
but Japan always plays bad on wet pitches.
this pitch is not wet but is said to be slippery, so hopefully they can toughen up.

    whoops slipped already.
    the pitch is slanted, heh.

Not really, the US got real sloppy and should not have let those 2 goals in. Zico might be able to keep his job now because of those mistakes. The Brazilian press is going to chide him on losing to the US, too.
