Aside from this game I think keeping Berhalter on has greater implications as to luring dual nationals. I think everyone sees issues, it's not a very appealing option, we all saw Dest's frustration the last game the same way we Pulisc's. The USSF has egg on there face literally, they just don't want to admit they were wrong. But the time is now.

yes, they could use motivation, but a simpler way, when they do this over and over, is selection

    you quit picking lazy people

    Just disband the program already.

Or, more seriously, hire Bob Bradley no matter the cost.

Berhalter needs to do the honorable thing and quit for the benefit of the program.

They don’t care if Daniel Lovitz plays... They’ll just count on Mexican friendlies to bankroll them.

Pulisic getting subbed out will be an enduring, iconic moment.

Berhalter did escalate the situation with that move. This is the type of bold decision that a confident manager does that will get praised if there are immediate improvements, but if it backfires then it blows up in his face. It definitely backfired.

TBH, I was confused in the moment of the sub, because the logical move was to take one of the midfield three out instead of Pulisic.

I thought Greg’s system would see us improving each international break, but there has been 0 improvement.

Canada is a better side than usual, but it’s no excuse for how we played today.

Indeed ... it will be interesting to see if a manager in a US program of any sort resigns out of dignity and honor.

somehow I don't think he will.

Since the 2014 World Cup, the U.S. has 1 win in 9 away matches in official competitions in CONCACAF, and that away win occurred over St. Vincent and the Grenadines.

Focus, energy. These only matter when you have a strategy that fits the personnel. Otherwise they are just buzzwords.

That Canada showed more fight and that we have more games to play in the future so we will come back and participate in those games as required

I think thats exactly what it takes. We need to start over immediately and now. Give the new coach a clean winter camp and start from the bottom. I would take Steve Sampson in a heartbeat over Berhalter, who is probably the worst USMNT coach in the post 1990s era by a significant margin.

Do the Directors of the USSF really think Gregg Berhalter was a good choice? Or does Jay Berhalter have pictures of them in bed with a sheep?

It has to be one of those two.
