well if we are going to take a loss, now is better. lets just hope this team got a wakeup call and comes out better. they have the ability, but they lack the composure right now.

Oh well. I'm sure its not the way they wanted to start, I hope the team can recover. I agree that there seemed to be a lack of leadership out on the field. Boxx had some nice shots.

Chastize me if you want but the future of the USWNT does not look bright at all!!! I think we will continually be a top team but its so noticeable after watching a game like Brasil and Germany and then ours we are a step below and not getting any better. Good thing we aren't in the group with germany and brasil, we would be out in the first round!

 

So who's the backup goalkeeper and have they shown pictures of her sitting on the bench pissed?

 

You are missing Lilly, Wambach, Whitehill they grey hairs of the team with the leadership experience to pull the team together after the goals and say, "Okay, now it's our turn, let's go push them but not forget our basics."

In previous tourneys, that was Lilly, since Lilly got pregnant it fell to Abby to do it because of her vocal mama lion impression. I figured the US was in trouble when Wombat went down, but in looking ahead....we look great for 2011. OMG, this team will be kicking hard in the next WWC. I like what I see in the future.
