Exactly! If we are able to keep them off the board for an hour, we bring on Yedlin to stretch the Belgians vertically and either Jozy or Johannson for reinforcements up top. Dempsey reverts to his preferred withdrawn position and we have an hour to score.

Fingers crossed this is the plan, and that it works...

@ Jamaica, vs. Panama, and vs. Honduras last June, unless I'm forgetting something.

What happens if we are down early? changes at second half, more offensive? Bring on Jozy, Aj or Yedlin?

Love the lineup. Not at all defensive in my mind. I think Johnson and Beasley will be the real attackers while cameron and jones hold up. Lot's of overlap and interplay made to look complicated.

Vogts & JK have decided to switch up the attack. Fabian getting behind Hazard a wreaking havoc* will be important.

And let's face it...Beckerman doesn't have ups, but Cameron can climb the ladder

Well then we go after Kompany - he's probably not 100%.

I hope Omar can replicated his performance against Germany. I hope Geoff doesn't make any mistakes like he did against Portugal. I hope the midfield trio of Jones, GCam, and Bradley have as much familiarity and confidence in each other as the trio with Beckerman did. I hope GCam stays disciplined and knows the exact role he is playing right now, because it's not something he's done in a year, and it's a big change from what he's done so far at this World Cup. I hope that with this lineup the US are up a goal or two and can then bring Beckerman on, with fresh legs, to close out the match and make sure there are no stupid mistakes like we had against Portugal. I hope.

It is. If they come out playing like they did a year ago in Cleveland it won't matter what lineup we put out there. If on the other hand they look dysfunctional and play like a bunch of individuals and can't break us down we might have a chance.

Player for player, they might be better at almost every position.

I'm not sure how I feel about Cameron getting matched up against Hazard...he's faced him, but he can also get turned.

Has there been an update today on Jozy's condition? Is he actually ready to play? You would think they would've started him if so.
