Can't believe that this hasn't been posted. Just in: Colorado awarded next World Cup qualifying match for Tim Howard and #USMNT: https://t.co/oA5cY0iFko by @markkiszla #rapids96— Daniel Boniface (@danielboniface) April 2, 2017
“I don’t think he’s playing another 10 years,” Arena said. “But Tim Howard is certainly capable of being the U.S. goalkeeper at the next World Cup.”
That's great. I wonder how the pre-sale thing will work this time, a lot more season ticket holders now. The idea worked pretty well last time, 3 points at DGSP, and a draw in Mexico. I suppose no snowstorm this time, but at home vs T&T, we better not need it!
Hopefully, somebody will post about how to purchase tickets once the game is announced. This is likely going to be one of the few watchable soccer games as Dick's this season.
Are you a Rapids season ticket holder? There has usually been a presale, if they could swing a presale again, they will send out email. If not, look into US soccer membership, or American Outlaw membership.
Official, Has anyone seen pricing info yet? OFFICIAL: @DSGpark to host World Cup qualifier on June 8th between #USMNT and Trinidad and Tobago.https://t.co/Gno7ScZvXp pic.twitter.com/NHYVPxcsiq— Colorado Rapids (@ColoradoRapids) April 3, 2017
Day-yam. That is quick. I thought last time we heard official word and then a long time passed before tickets went on sale. But maybe I'm remembering the long lag between the rumor and the official announcement.
US Soccer "preferred" presale starts today at 10AM. I don't have a code, and so far am not seeing prices.
If they do what they've done in the past, the email won't get sent until 10am, if not later, since it's KSE...
That's what I figure. I think they start at 10, and then have to make it through the list. It does take time to attach all those spreadsheets with the season ticket holder contact info.
