Maybe Norway II, which will still beat MLS on rookie wages. Sweden is near the bottom of the Scadinavian totem pole (Finland-Sweden-Norway-Denmark).
No longer a YA at least not for now. He is playing for the Rochester Rhinos in the USL Pro http://www.rhinossoccer.com/team/roster/index.html?player_id=27
I wonder what had happened to JC after his Toronto trial.Glad to see him land somewhere. BTW, he scored today in his pro debut as Rochester's won 3-2 over Dayton.
Yeah I went to the game, good game. JC played well and I wouldn't be surprised if he moves abroad in the near future until then I think he'll do well in the USL.
Agreed. A good productive season in the USL where he raises his game, scores some goals, and learns the ins and outs of being a professional will probably see him draw some interest from Scandinavia or MLS. I saw JC play at UW-GB and thought he was a little raw but definitely a player with a positive upside. With a little coaching, patience, and time JC could turn into a solid pro. How high the ceiling, I've no idea. Time will tell.
