He wouldn't succeed in Korea. Swedish and Icelandic players are far more tactically disciplined than Korean players. Besides, the Icelandic style of play relied on a lot of strength and power, which the Korean players lack.

When Stielike is long gone and Korea fails to qualify for the World Cup in 2022, you'll realise that the problem was a systematic one and not due to the manager.

Forget Gunes, if Besiktas wins against Kiev, they will advance onto the next round. Nobody prefers a shitty KNT over CL ;)

I don't make bets with anyone from BS Korea, because nobody seems to care whether people keep them.

EDIT: Besides, if Mourinho and his assistants keep their jobs this year, it will be because United don't want to pay compensation for all of them, which would probably total close to if not more than 100 million pounds unless there is a clause that stipulates otherwise.

If I didn't keep that bet, you would have at least been able to cry and pout about it to everyone and pretend to be the persecuted prophet of BSK yet again, which is something you love to do. You just weren't confident enough in your prediction at the time.

Note that I never claimed that United would necessarily do well - I just predicted that he wouldn't be sacked in the middle of the season, for various reasons not necessarily related to the actual football itself.

Who cares? Mourinho's management is outdated, and I said this from day one. Hodori scoffed when I said this. But neither he nor anyone else can explain what Mourinho offers that the likes of Conte, Klopp, and many other top managers don't while his sore loser antics are a liability for the club and for its image.

Sure bro, but that wasn't what I was talking about. The question was whether or not he would be sacked midway through the season.

Just wait until February or March. When CL drifts further and further away, they will cut their losses, or they will try to "leak" some rumors about him hoping he resigns. Or they will make up a breach of contract pretext.

Some of you were pining for Frank de Boer not long ago. Who is the next flavor of the month?

Do you think that firing a national manager every time he gets an unsatisfactory result or two is a sustainable practice in Korea?
