I make no illusions of his limitations but against Sakara, that was a good example of destroying your opponent. I do think he'd struggle against any good submissions guy but in a ground in pound, the dude is big and powerful but if he gets caught, he gets caught. The Ice Man could be interesting though.

I like most of the fights, I too thought the Hamil fight was not the correct decision. What I really want to talk about is Kongo, He has great stand up but his ground game is very suspect. He did well against CroCop because they are both strikers. CroCop was looking at not loosing and looked tentative. It is pretty clear that he is next in line to get a title shot after defeating CroCop. Against Couture though I think he will get schooled. Couture's wrestling is so good once he is down Chet is not getting up. the toughest fight for couture a styles go has to be Arlovsky. Now if the Emilianenkos come to UFC I will say they are, but for now I think Couture is top of the mountain.

Cro Cop got his rib broken early in the fight

Didn't know that but my assesment of congo does not change. Too bad for crocop though, hope he heals soon and gets back to kicking heads off.

Too bad Arlovsky is actually going to need to win some fights before getting a shot at the title.

Agreed and agreed. I was in disbelief that they gave Bisping that decision after he maybe won one round.

I mean, going over there and putting on a loaded show was one thing, but that was nothing but highway robbery.

Davis/Taylor was a fun little fight as well with a nice finish.

Rampage/Henderson wasn't a great fight, but still a good one, with a lot of respect on both sides.

Really looking forward to seeing Dana White's response to the decision, if any.

The show did 3.1 rating on Spike, which makes it the most watched UFC show in history.

Putting a loaded show on basic cable does tend to do that. :D

And it's the perfect promoter's response - he's already working on setting up a rematch. :D
