Van de Donk is 5'3". She is a talented player. She and Groenen are a nice, quick combo in the middle of the pitch for The Netherlands.
He was in Brittany, mentioned in the U20 WWC thread - It sounded like there were some disagreements with the Danish players before he left.

The Swiss FA links seems[?] to be working with no geoblock. (Also the SRF TV coverage switches to another channel, SRF Info, at half-time, to make way for Monster Trucks or something.
Switzerland-Belgium (aggregate 2-2 after the 1st leg) SUI Thalmann (GK); Crnogorcevic; Kiwic; Walti; Maritz; Calligaris; Gut; Dickenmann; Aigbogun; Reuteler; Bachmann BEL Evrard (GK); Courtereels; De Neve; Zeler; Deloose; Philtjens; De Caigny; Missipo; Biesmans; Wullaert; Cayman
The home team Switzerland have had the better of the first 12 minutes, attacking strongly in the first few mins, but there've been a few aimless through-balls from both sides. 1049707840896753664 is not a valid tweet id
At 61' Harder missed from a few meters in front of a wide open net, by sending the ball over the crossbar. One minute later she had another shot saved by Geurts. It's just not going to be for Denmark, tonight.
Goal, Switzerland, 23rd minute - in a crowded penalty area, Géraldine Reuteler flicks a shot over Evrard to make it 1-0 (3-2 aggregate) for SUI Goaaaaaal für die Schweiz!!!!!
DEN-NED, 74th minute, Harder forced a good save from Johansen from outside the box. 77th minute, Miedema's on as sub, again she's replacing Van de Sanden, after a long debate on the sideline
at 73' perhaps there was a foul on Beerensteyn in Danish box, but no PK was given. 3 minutes later, it looked like Wiegmann wanted to make a different change from the one in the previous game (Miedema for Beerensteyn), but she changed her mind mid-way (maybe also to waste some time? ) and Van de Sanden was subbed out instead. I now have to go out. I don't think the result will change in any significant way in these last 10 minutes.
37th minute in Biel, Swiss star Ramona Bachmann is booked for an excessive foul on 23, Kassandra Missipo, in midfield Belgium's Laura Deloose leaves the field after 38 mins, injured but she jogs off the field. Replaced by Davinia Vanmechelen.
Goal Netherlands, to seal the victory, second of the game for Beerensteyn, in the 90+2nd minute (Aggregate, 4-1 for Netherlands) Denmark 1 Netherlands 2. Beerensteyn scores again #DENNED #WWC2019 pic.twitter.com/SeubCKb8BT— Football 24/7 (@Foetbal247TBG) October 9, 2018
She was also fouled on a breakaway right at the start of the 2nd half. the referee was woefully behind the play and did see it.
If you're watching the Swiss TV coverage in German, it's changing channels now: (Edit) Oh, that's some nice teletext #DENNED @KevinMagnussen vs @Max33Verstappen 1 - 2. pic.twitter.com/8VZNlueuzo— #MsportXtra © (@MsportXtra) October 9, 2018
Tears and tears everywhere on Danish TV now. But they've had a weak 2018. Their campaign was messed up at the start when they fought over benefits and salaries with DBU and didn't show up for the Sweden game.
Hmm, the Swiss team are sitting back on their 1-0 lead - Bachmann's just made a break into the centre circle that ran out of steam, with no teammate in front of her. Belgium need 2 goals to survive in the competition, due to Switzerland's 2 away goals.
Now it's interesting, Belgium score to make it 1-1 (3-3 agg) but Switzerland lead 2-1 on away goals. Tine de Caigny headed home from short range. One more goal would win it for the Belgians... 77' Goaaaaal 1-1 @TineDeCaigny !#SUIBEL #FIFAWWC#REDTOGETHER 🇧🇪— Belgian Red Flames (@BelRedFlames) October 9, 2018 (Edit) 78th min, SUI's Noelle Maritz is booked for timewasting
The Netherlands go through to the playoffs final with a 2-1 over Denmark today. With the score tied at 1 at the half, Denmark faced a very difficult challenge, needing three goals in the last 45 minutes to prevail. They got none but could have had 1, 2 or even 3 goals with some luck in the first 15 minutes of the second half against a Dutch team that sat back, trying to protect its lead--a style that does not really suit a team whose strength is in attack. The Netherlands were playing with their backup keeper, Geurts, who is not very tall, and she failed to punch out two Danish corner kicks that were inside the six-yard box and both nearly ended up in her net. On the first, she tried to get her hand on a nice in-swinger but missed (or maybe her hand barely grazed the ball), and the ball hit the outside post and was maybe two inches from going in the net. On the second corner, Geurts got lost in a crowd of players inside the box and didn't get to the ball at all. The ball hit the ground, was kicked by a Dane and either hit a Dutch defender or was cleared away by the defender standing on the goal line. Two scary moments for Dutch fans, to be sure. There was another one not long after when Dekker, the Dutch center back, fell down trying to clear the ball on the wing. Nadim, the Danish forward, got the ball and fired a centering pass into the box. Harder, the outstanding Danish forward, beat Dekker's centerback partner to the ball, D. Bloodworth, but uncharacteristically bungled the opportunity, sending the ball over the next. That should have been a Denmark goal. She nearly scored not long after that on a strike from about 15 yards in front of the box but Geurts made an excellent diving save. That was it for Denmark. The Netherlands settled down in the last 20 minutes, had a bit of possession, and just saw out the game, with Beerensteyn scoring off a corner kick in stoppage time to give the Dutch the victory. Beerensteyn was excellent in the two games playing in place of Miedema, who came in at about the 78' minute today. I'm not sure why she didn't start--but certainly Beerensteyn, who is fast and strong and skilled, took up the slack beautifully. I hope that injured Dutch centerback Van der Gragt will be back for the final. The Dutch are very thin at centerback--so much so that the team moved Bloodworth, a midfielder/outside back into Van der Gragt's spot, and Bloodworth struggled. She got beat in the Norway game and gave up what proved to be the winning goal, which cost The Netherlands a chance to win their group, and she fouled Harder in the first half today in the box, enabling Denmark to take a 1-0 lead. on a penalty kick. She's a good player but not used to playing centerback, I don't think. The Dutch really need to find some quality depth for their back four. It will be nice to see The Netherlands play somebody other than Denmark and Norway, whom they always seem to be playing. Whoever the opponent, it is sure to be hard fought with the last UEFA WC spot on the line.
82nd minute, Switzerland lose Ramona Bachmann to an injury - she's replaced by Florijana Ismaili. Player change for Belgium: Ella van Kerkhoven in as substitute. Belgium are threatening the Swiss goal...
87th min, Yellow card for Belgium's substitute Davinia Vanmechelen, for a foul inside her own half as Switzerland attacked. Switzerland seem to have it in hand, but anything could happen in the final minutes. Switzerland 1 Belgium 1 #SUIBEL #WWC2019 pic.twitter.com/DMBq0eae2z— Football 24/7 (@Foetbal247TBG) October 9, 2018
Final whistle, Switzerland 1 - 1 Belgium. Switzerland win 3-3 and were not especially impressive. The Swiss commentator described it as a crime no, sorry, a "Krimi" ("thriller")
