First you invent stories then play the victim at the end.

Let me guess you were defending yourself here?

What poor play? He has been a top performer in Benfica scoring and assisting on many occasions. So explain again how he doesnt deserve a call up based on his play at Benfica? Also these affiliations you and gooddead claim Benfica has. How come Andre Almeida doesnt get called? What about Ferro? Why doesnt Pizzi start over Bruno Fernandes?

You seem stressed, maybe you are butthurt that the Warriors are getting owned

I must've been jaded from you being a complete prick.

Simple, because they aren't even remotely good enough to create that argument. I think Felix has been great for SLB. He is definitely going to be something special, however, his agent is Jorge Mendes and plays into the decision making process of calling him up. Aside from he fact that performing well against the Portuguese league scrubs, doesn't automatically mean you deserve a call up and a start. Dude had no business starting the game. Guedes has been beasting st Valencia when he's been healthy, hell, even Leao had a fantastic season with Lille. Why aren't they getting call-ups and starting game?

My poor play refers to the Switzerland game. This isn't the weak ass Portuguese league. Dude isn't ready for the big stage. Period.

    Both Danilo and William? ugh..

I get it. The Dutch have revamped their team and are on their way to successful tournaments.. but their attack is not that worrisome yet where we are required to play with two DM's.. absolutely little to no creativity in that midfield... given the options we have, this selection is disapointing.

Diogo Jota is better than Goncalo Guedes, damn it. This is football not the 100m dash.

This may be the best half of football I’ve seen us play in quite some time.

We definitely look motivated. This team just needs to have creative freedom when going forward.

    Solid first half.

Netherlands havent looked to threatening at all.

Might be a little tired? They did play a tough game v England on one day less rest that went into extra time.

The longer this game goes on at 0-0.. the more it worries me.. the more i begin to feel like this is Euro 2004 all over again..

What a nostalgic feeling i had watching the anthem.. all the Portuguese flags and colours in the shot.. man.. i just hope it ends differently this time..

Domination so far. Semedo has made a turnaround. He used to be a lot better at attacking than defending, but now it seems the opposite..

I would’ve loved to of seen Felix mixing with an absolute Masterclass from Bernardo & Bruno.

Portugal’s future is those three running the final third.

That last 25-30 was the best period of football they’ve played in both offence & defence unfortunately no goals yet, hopefully we are not made to pay for that

I'm glad to see Portugal is capable of so much more than that miser football. The Dutch are pressing tight, but our players have shown quite some skills to get around it. Ruben Fernandes was scary at first but the was able to turn it around pretty good. William (he's just too good to be at crappy Betis) and Danilo have been complementing one another perfectly. Only a goal is missing.
