I suspect “the penalty is enough” thinking would come into play in the EPL. I’m actually pleasantly surprised it didn’t here. SFP + penalty is a rare call, even when deserved.
If the attacker had bowed down and the contact thus had happened at less height or if the defender had gotten some contact with the ball then I could see that but not on this play tbh.
