UEFA Champions League 2017-18

That was one of the shittiest finals I've ever seen. Liverpool's keeper singlehandedly won this game for Madrid.

Told everyone it would be anticlimactic, the only difficult team Liverpool faced was man city on the way to the final. Spartak, maribor, porto and roma aren’t exactly euro powers. UEFA should go away with the stupid draws every round

 

Imo the best format was the one Libertadores used to have where the best group performers faced the worst ones. It also gave meaning to group stage matches.

 

I agree, that would be ideal. I always enjoyed the second group stage too, though that’s a lot more games

Seriously man Kroos, Isco, Casemiro jogged the entire time and being lazy while passing. Scared the heck out of me. I wish they would’ve gotten out of first gear for at least a solid 30 minutes

Everything except competitiveness you would expect to see in a final. I never got the sense Liverpool could better Madrid even when they tied. I feel like mentally they also collapsed when miguel sabah was subbed off. The games vs Bayern were the real final imo, much more entertaining and better quality
