Using some squaddies, understandable given our schedule.

Given injuries to options, Herrera and Matic will be gassed though. Mou himself said they tired 2nd half against Liverpool. Desperately need at least one of Carrick / Pogs / Fellaini back or will have to trust McTominay.

 

A solid starting XI, no real surprises.

We all know Benfica have disappointed so far in CL play, so they'll be up for this one. Expect Mourinho to defend and counter. the blowout we're all waiting to see probably isn't in the cards today.

 

Matic needs a breather for sure, hopefully we get someone back for the Swansea match next week

I really don't know what Mata offers anymore. He makes decent runs but is too weak and slow to get on the end of anything. He runs like he has two busted knees. It's a very unnatural stride.

Assholes at Fox and Xfinity. The deal is that the Astros/Yankees game is on at 2pm pacific, so pregame at 1pm. It's on Fox Deportes, but Xfinity doesn't carry this channel on their app.

Some poor individual performances plus we are being overrun in midfield.

Think if we had the our other CMs this would have been a midfield three as teams can pack the centre and overrun Matic / Herrera as we are not offering anything wide.

 

I can't defend Miki anymore. He's becoming a weight around our neck. He needs to wake the FCK up.

 

No idea how to attack, attacking players who cant pass forward or take players on.
