I'm perfectly aware that major funding and changes are required to the squad. We not only have to bring in LOTS of talent in, but as stated above, lots of players need to leave as well.
And of course, we need to have a DoF: we can argue all day whether that will happen or not. I think it will and if Woodward welches on that commitment, then we're pretty effed going forward.
I get that Woodward believes his own hype, but there comes a time when you need to face facts and if he's honest with himself he will see how bad things have gotten on his watch and acknowledge his part in it...

I'm one of them. I didn't say that he couldnt cut it. Because with an inexperienced and possibly in over his head manager at the healm, we need experience in other places. We can't afford to have both guys learning on the job.

With that said, we could do worse than VDS. I just dont want us making any more decisions because a guy "knows the club". We should hire based on logic and being the best guy for the job.
