Turkmenistan, one of the favourites in this tournament, and a team who can easily step it to tier 2 football, doesnt organise any international friendlies... pretty poor.
Turkmenistan goes to Qatar in May 8th. They have planned 3 training matches. I don't know the oppenents yet.

https://pp.vk.me/c628622/v628622730/3ece/gOFy6_6hsQA.jpg Turkmenistan squad against Guam. *Match against Iran in Turkmenistan will be played not in capital city Ashgabat, but it will be in northern city Dashoguz (farthest city from Iranian border, Iran and Turkmenistan are neighbors). This is unusual, before this all of the home matches were played in Ashgabat. Reason might be to make difficulties for Iran. It is expected to see some foreign based players against Iran.
Yeah makes sense to play in the northern parts of the country further away from Iran less likely Iranians will make the trip to support their team.
Turkmenistan will have training camp in Ashgabat between June 1-7, and they will fly to Philippines where they are planning 1 friendly match on June 8th. From there they will move to Guam.
Why not just arrive a little earlier so they can play in a friendly(even if not official) with the Philippines? That way they can get used to the tropical conditions they will see in Guam.
