As I said before, I'd rather Turkey lose to Croatia now than during the qualifiers, so I'm not too disappointed.

Croatia gotta do a better job with finishing though. Well deserved win, but they're winning goal was probably the most difficult and improbable chance they had.

    Great goal from Modric

Croatia deserved the win, but their antics in the final 10 minutes of the game were disgusting to say the least.

A lot of player didn't live up their potential at Turkey.

If Perisic had a bit luck the game could've ended 3 or 4 - 0

The game against the Czechs is very important for Turkey

Good game from Croatia. Really outclassed the Turks in midfield. Should have been bigger win but 3 points is the main goal.

Vrsaljko would have buried that empty net chance Srna missed.:)

Was it a choice? Did the Turkish federation and Croatian federation get together and decide whomever wins this game is not allowed to win during the qualifiers. From my understanding Croatia is allowed to win today and also during the qualifiers.

3-0 seemed like an appropriate scoreline.

Srna had a good game. His best game for Croatia in a while. Still think Vrsaljko is the better player though.

You do realise that there is a reason why his surname is Turfan. He is meant to be playing on turf, not on grass.

On a sad note Dario Srna has left the Croatian national team as his father passed away. It is not known whether he will play the next game.

If Srna doesnt return back, Croatia could end with Sime Vrsaljko on this RB position. Or even better Jedvaj as CB and Corluka as RB.

But I think that Srna will return, because he will try to create something iconic, in his sadness, he fought for the team. If you read his biography, you will notice the reasons of proving himself to the Croatian fans.

Anyway, Croatian weakest side - defence - holds well so far. But Brozovic, Badelj, Strinic are the weakest so far. Maybe it's time for Mateo Kovacic and Ante Coric, hard to say.

Marko Pjaca should get some moments, at least against Czech Republic, very demanding team, especially in defensive roles, they don't make mistakes, cold and rational approach.;)
