My diagnosis is that he' in denial stage. "Trump can't be worse than Killary!". Hopefully he can move to step two before Trump is impeached and arrested.

Nobody talks about how John McCain, John Kerry, or Al Gore make policy based on their status as lost presidential candidates. They talk about them due to their work in the Senate, the Sec State, and the environmental lobby. The failed presidential candidates without some other job - Romney, Dole, Dukakis, Mondale - don't get talked about because they don't do anything except hawk Viagra pills.

It's pathetic. It's July of 2017, not October 2016. Mitt Romney didn't get bashed every day of 2013 by Obama. Clinton didn't spend all of 1997 shitting on Bob Dole. Poppy Bush didn't make his entire term about how much worse Dukakis would have been. It's pathetic, and you should be better than that.
