Question: If all of the Russian meddling took place during the Obama Administration, right up to January 20th, why aren’t they the subject of the investigation? Why didn’t Obama do something about the meddling? Why aren’t Dem crimes under investigation? Ask Jeff Sessions!— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) February 21, 2018 Yeah, someone should get Jeff Sessions' boss to tell him to get on the stick! JFC
Being trash is what created his success, as a college student who attracted the attention of national GOP leadership by behaving abominably. Which says as much about the rest of the GOP as it does about Dinesh.
Mainstream conservatives have given the asshole/troll wing of the party far, far too much forgiveness over the years, and Trump is the reckoning.
"I've got the government on the ropes and you interrupted me". That line alone is worth watching the video.
You could sort of see the first glimmering recognition of that in Jeb Bush's eyes when he realized the nomination was slipping away from him.
I thought that happened when he gave and impassioned (for him) speech at an old folks home and had to ask them to "please clap" at the end.
D'Souza, a troll from the start, was actually treated as an "intellectual" by the mainstream conservatives in the GOP camp. That hasn't helped shape political discourse in this country for the better.
Maybe my phrasing was poor--I didn't mean "when Jeb realized he was losing the nomination", I meant that ONCE he realized he was losing the nomination--and that Trump was both a partial cause and a likely beneficiary--you could just about see a dawning, oft-suppressed, recognition that there was something in the GOP base that liked what Trump was selling, and wouldn't settle for tokenism and the occasional dog whistle any more.

This needs to be cross posted in the "Why Republicans should not use social media" thread. Does he not realize that: 1) This post is public 2) Russian bots should not be encouraged?
I read this multiple times and am glad that someone else commented before I did. I looked it up to see if this was a parody account or if I arrived in the middle of a joke and had no context. Does he know people can see what he wrote?
