Eh, the anthem. When the right wants to change the subject.

Donald Trump advocated putting to death five minors who were innocent of the crimes they committed. Now that's shit that matters. You want to talk about a stain on this country's legacy, look no further than that.

I have this on vinyl somewhere. It's been so long since I've listened to it I don't know whether I'd suffer.

Does it matter, he can say whatever he wants even when it's mostly false if not an outright lie and anyone calling him out emboldens the people who already back him.

Just look at some of the response to Bush's speech today. It can't even be called a culture war.

If this is an early appetizer, this might shape up to be the Thanksgiving of tweetstorms.

Or a normal day in the life of Drumpf. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I did not know about Bush's speech, thanks for the heads up. It definitely has some moments from his 2nd inaugural address. But this though...

He's implying that the FBI, the Russians, and the Democrats conspired to create that dossier that includes the pee tape allegation. A normal person might wonder, then, why Comey sank Hillary and the Russians were using social media to target voters with pro-Trump messages in the 3 key swing states.

Now, keep in mind we know who paid for it...a GOP-affiliated oppo research firm. But a person having a nervous breakdown isn't bound by your bourgeois concept of "reality" and "logic" and "truth."

Of course not. For awhile they convinced him that yahweh would smite him if he tweeted on the Sabbath but he overcame that.

I am inviting you to click on this Twitter thread which has a play-by-play of Richard Spencer's visit to the University of Florida, and I am inviting you to join me in a hearty "GO GATORS"

I would like to single out for praise the person who asked this question:

One case where you can say BOTHSIDESDOIT. Because Trump hatred should be non-partisan:

    (Wikipedia)
In September 2015, Fusion GPS was hired to do opposition research for Republicans who opposed Donald Trump's bid during the Republican primary campaign for the 2016 presidential election. When Trump had emerged as the probable Republican candidate by the spring of 2016, Republican donors stopped funding the investigation, and Democratic supporters of Hillary Clinton became Fusion GPS's new clients.[25] In June 2016, after the Democratic National Committee had been hacked and its emails began to be published online by Wikileaks, Fusion GPS retained Christopher Steele, a private British corporate intelligence investigator and former MI-6 agent, to research any Russian connections to Trump.
