He didn't when he started his campaign. I believe he talked himself into it before he was elected. But he certainly regrets it now. He wanted the power. He wanted the money. He wanted people to love him. But the power wasn't of the kind he thought it was. The money is going to get him in fantastic trouble. And in a few years every conservative in America is going to wish they never heard the name Donald Trump. I'm happy that becoming President will give Trump the comeuppance he so richly deserved for so long. And I'm sad that so many had to (and will) suffer so much to make it happen.
Trump's use of the word "rat" is telling I worked mafia cases for years in SDNY, mainly Gambino and Genovese. I usually hesitate to make this comparison but here it is completely warranted. This - calling somebody who provides information to law enforcement a “rat” - is straight up mob boss language. https://t.co/K8w46rVMP5— Elie Honig (@eliehonig) December 16, 2018

Flynn's a POS who should be in Leavenworth for life IMO. But I get the flipping games prosecutors have to play
No Collusion!!! Collusion is no crime!!! Well, it's not like if someone was killed!!! It ended up before the election!!! WaPo obtained a report prepared for the Senate that found Russia’s disinformation campaign used every major social media platform to deliver words, images and videos to targeted voters to help elect Donald Trump — and to support him once in office https://t.co/ekoBY4L9OJ— Philip Rucker (@PhilipRucker) December 16, 2018 Question is, how much did Pence and ReiNCe PRieBuS know... IMO, they knew everything..

I rarely make fun of people’s appearances but when you are as heartless as Stephen Miller I feel no shame in pointing out that he literally painted his hair on before his interview this morning.Miller’s hair is almost as dishonest as the Trump White House that he works for. pic.twitter.com/FFeHj54wPG— Brian Krassenstein (@krassenstein) December 16, 2018 He looks a lot like this guy:

Me like it... Someone should tattoo fake hair onto Stephen Miller’s scalp so even after he no longer works for Trump everyone will know he’s a bald Nazi. pic.twitter.com/A7BmT9fyg5— The Volatile Mermaid (@OhNoSheTwitnt) December 17, 2018
He's one Boarder I'd be happy to evict. On a serious note, this guy can barely read or write, yet he shrugs off climate science because, well, he knows better. Then half the country nods in agreement. I can't even.
The problem with this tweet is that you are a foul, disgusting liar and a stain on American public life. The stench of your deceit and your views pollutes your district, your state, your party, and the United States. https://t.co/6Aate5nHSb— John Podhoretz (@jpodhoretz) December 16, 2018
I didn't read The Weekly Standard, but skimming it, I can see why it failed. It is old-school conservatism. It has articles that cite intellectuals and artists, such as the one below. Today's right has no interest in intellectuals or artists, and the left of course isn't interested in supporting wannabe Republicans. So, kaput. https://www.weeklystandard.com/clare-coffey/of-fairies-and-dragons
If I saw it around, I'd check out the reviews/cultural reporting in the back. Damn good stuff. According to David Br***s, MLS's Uncle Phil Anschutz shut it down, and will likely use it's subscriber list to expand a version of the Washington Times. Which is about 45 points lower on the IQ scale.
You probably mean the Washington Examiner. The Washington Times is the (former?) Unification Church owned newspaper.

It was this Anytime you hear a Democrat saying that you can have good Border Security without a Wall, write them off as just another politician following the party line. Time for us to save billions of dollars a year and have, at the same time, far greater safety and control!— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) December 17, 2018 but it was about boarder security not border security
A wall isn't going to save any money. As Captain Spock said, "As a matter of cosmic history, it has always been easier to destroy than to create", and that is especially true of constructed things. So as any military engineer of the last 10,000 years knows, a fixed defense (wall, wire fence, minefield, whatever) is useless unless it is actively guarded. There already exists a wall across much of California, and there is a guy whose job is to drive along the wall all day every day and weld up all the holes made in 20 seconds by $26 Harbor Freight cut-off tools. So besides the unfathomable cost of the wall itself is the cost of patrolling, protecting, and maintaining it. I said all this before, right? I feel like I said this before. Trump isn't listening to me.
Today I am making good on my promise to defend our Farmers & Ranchers from unjustified trade retaliation by foreign nations. I have authorized Secretary Perdue to implement the 2nd round of Market Facilitation Payments. Our economy is stronger than ever–we stand with our Farmers!— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) December 17, 2018 This kind of thinking will probably eventually drive me insane, but isn’t retaliation pretty much by definition justified? Unless it’s wildly disproportionate.
