Left off Merieles & Tiago off the list? one of them will likely start and if Pepe isn't healthy, both of them will start.
I dunno, the way I see it, Portugal plays a 4-2-3-1 with 2 DM and to me, Merieles & Tiago fit that description.
they play with one guy sitting back (pepe or mendes) and one guy connecting offense and defense (tiago or merieles) and one guy attacking (deco, danny)
Pedro Mendes & put Pepe back to CB. With all due respect to Carvalho he's seen better days & should be behind our best CB's. That's Pepe & B. Alves. Mendes & Veloso is fine.
