Terrible tournament format. Should have been the top 2 teams from both groups to face off in semifinals.
For sure. MLS still had a 11-6-3 record against LIga mx though. I don't know if it is much to be worried about considering what our u-16s did to spain.
I was surprised Toronto did so well. I'm pissed that LAFC shit the bed against Monterrey. It should have been LAFC vs Chivas in the final.
Liga MX and MLS have been having these types of tournaments in Mexico for the past few years and Liga MX sides have dominated every year. Look at the last edition of the tournament and something similar happened: http://subinternacional.ligamx.net/. (have to scroll down a bit to see the table)

And Mexico U15's just gone done dominating the baby nads Tres a Cero and eliminate them from the tournament. Mexico wins the group. edit: full game
Yes. Came in as a sub in both games I saw. Did well against Spain although he wasn't involved in the goal.

Mexico U15's go undefeated and win the Torneo delle Nazioni tournament after beating Japan 2-1. Really talented group of players, especially up top, and that's without Alcala playing very little minutes in this tournament. The next U17's should be really strong.
Besides Alcala From what I saw in the tournament: Carlos Cruz (kid had a trial with Bayern a while back), Jesus Hernandez, Luis Vega, and Miguel Carreon.
I think he played against India but hasn't played since for some reason. Didn't see him on the bench against Japan either.
