For those of you who are located north of Miami or are just simply looking for a little more soccer, check out the Treasure Coast Galleons.

The Galleons will be announcing some of their opponents in the coming weeks & months. The 2007 schedule will be used to get the area aquainted with the new club by hosting numerous exhibitions throughout the spring and summer.

Should be announcing some matches after the X-Mas/New Year's time.

Should be hosting 3-4 USL clubs, 2 European clubs, 2 National teams & two very special cup sides...including a match vs. World All Stars with a good group of MLS/US Natl. team players.

Thanks for the positive message. I'd love to list who are planning to bring in but I might anger a front office or two, so for now the waiting game continues. Fingers crossed we should be able to announce two or three sides coming to St. Lucie in the next two weeks...should be one National Team and two US Club sides.:D

A little updated info on the Galleons.

FESL Schedule is set. First Kick is May 19th.

International Schedule will have a few more matches added in the coming weeks. So far the Galleons will be playing against the Palm Beach Pumas, Miami FC, World All-Stars, Nigerian 1st Division All Stars & two other USL clubs and hopefully what looks to be two national teams from the Carribean.

I hear that the Orlando FESL team is already having tryouts and will have a superior team to the Galleons.

Good job on the web site and taking the time to putting the base on your organization. It's nice to see that your taking the time to put together the organization.

Quick question about the FESL? How did that come about? Was it a TCG started venture?

Thanks for the kind words, I hope you're able to catch a live match sometime.

The FESL is a newly formed semi-pro league that will showcase the most talented players from within the state of Florida. It is our hope to help grow the sport of soccer within each household of each respective city, fan by fan, house by house. Whether it's a passion for soccer, your respective city, your neighbor or friend, we hope that the FESL will provide everyone with a reason to stand up and support their local hero's.

TS Academy & The Galleons are also extremely proud & honored to be an official partner of Miami FC.

The Treasure Coast Galleons will be holding tryouts for adult players ranging from elite high school players to adult players.

The Galleons will be playing within the newly formed FESL and will also play an International Series Schedule against clubs such as Miami FC, Palm Beach Pumas, World All-Stars & many others. The Galleons have already aquired the services of former MLS-All Star & US National Team member "Sneaky" Pete Marino, former Scottish U-21 keeper Ryszard Gorski & 2001 US Amatuer coach of the year Gerry Schiavo.

The Galleons will be holding their tryouts on April 14th from 1pm-3:30pm @ South County Stadium in Port St. Lucie (across the street from the NY Mets Tradition Stadium).

Players can register themselves through the league website, www.FESLSoccer.com or on the day of tryouts at the field.

Long way off, but when you make the planned jump to USL-2 is there any plan to keep a 'B' team in FESL?

Yes, the FESL will always be apart of the Galleons. The Galleons will field a reserve squad named the Treasure Coast Carricks FC. Carrick being the smaller European version to a Spanish Galleon ship.... also no relationship or homage to Micheal Carrick of Man. Utd.
