Re: Who's going to San Pedro Sula? Found some on taca for 460 with taxes and all from LAX. If a lot of people get in on this I'll consider.
Re: Who's going to San Pedro Sula? American has fares to San Pedro Sula from NYC for around $240. im hoping to head down, we will see what my schedule is like
Re: Who's going to San Pedro Sula? Wow 240? I'm assuming that's JFK? Hell I'll happily fly out of there instead. I hope there's atleast a decent group of Americans going.
Re: Who's going to San Pedro Sula? I think we have three threads going on this topic and flights from DC are $255.
Re: Who's going to San Pedro Sula? I wonder why fares are so much lower from the East Coast than the West Coach?
Re: Who's going to San Pedro Sula? Right, JFK is San Pedro Sula is 1850 miles, and LAX is 2880. I thought LAX would be closer.
Re: Who's going to San Pedro Sula? Really? That's hard to even picture, I gotta breakout google earth.
Re: USA vs Honduras October 11th Who's Going? Bradinho are you going? It's looking very likely that I will be going and will be making the trip by myself. I'll be in San Pedro Sula for 48 hours. looking to book a hostel, I'll post more when I know more.
Re: USA vs Honduras October 11th Who's Going? Where are people staying? I would most likely like to travel with others and go somewhere Friday night.
Re: USA vs Honduras October 11th Who's Going? Heres a small family owned place, Ive checked its reviews on multiple sites, people seem to love it. Its also a cheap price (under 100 bucks a night) http://www.hotelcasadelarbol.com/index.html Check out this Hilton in SPS, great reviews and only 80 bucks a night: http://travel.yahoo.com/p-hotel-350...edro_sula-i;_ylt=AphOU.D7EMB14OHWBOqOwstCHWoL and another: Gran Hotel Sula, its in the heart of the city http://www.hotelscombined.com/Hotel/Gran_Hotel_San_Pedro_Sula.htm
Re: USA vs Honduras October 11th Who's Going? I'd like to go, but frankly, I'd like to also not be the only asshole there wearing red. So I want to see how many other people are going. But I'm VERY up for heading down there. I'd probably be staying at the Intercontinental, I remember seeing someone mention that hotel previously. I'm looking at flights out of Newark and JFK that fly through Miami (where I will meet up with a friend on the same flight) and get in Friday afternoon.
Re: USA vs Honduras October 11th Who's Going? you should really go.....the football atmosphere is going to be "stoke"!
Re: Who's going to San Pedro Sula? i'll most likely make the trip down there, but I haven't booked anything yet.
Re: USA vs Honduras October 11th Who's Going? I have no doubt in my mind it'll be an incredible experience.
Re: USA vs Honduras October 11th Who's Going? Intercontinental Hotel looks like the place to stay if you're an American. It runs $90 a night. Now we'll need a bar for the night before and the day of. It appears the game will be played at 7pm local time based on previous matches but otherwise it is listed as TBA.
Re: Who's going to San Pedro Sula? $250 from Boston. Hey MODS wanna merge the two Honduras travel threads? Intercontinental Hotel looks like the place to stay if you're an American. It runs $90 a night. Now we'll need a bar for the night before and the day of. It appears the game will be played at 7pm local time based on previous matches but otherwise it is listed as TBA. I am expecting to hear back from US Soccer about tickets today.
Re: USA vs Honduras October 11th Who's Going? Damn you Garrett. Now you've got me looking into flights.
Re: Who's going to San Pedro Sula? If you've got the time, the Bay Islands are a great place to do some diving. When we traveled through Honduras in 2004, getting PADI certification on Utila was $164, one of the cheapest places in the world. Also, be aware that the rate of AIDS/HIV in San Pedro Sula is ridiculously high, so jimmy hats and whatnot if you get lucky with any of the locals.
