Luis Campos, DS #Lille: "Thiago Mendes leaving in January? Anything is possible". https://t.co/k9BthARQ9m— RomaPress (@ASRomaPress) January 8, 2019
According to CIES, Under and Cristante are the most valuable Roma players at 73M and 57M respectively. They value Alexander Arnold at 114M though, so take it with a grain of salt.
DDR will be hugely missed when he retires. His passion, the fight in his blood, and most importantly his defensive positioning is second to none! Easily the best DM in his prime
#PSG in pursuit of #Roma's #Pellegrini https://t.co/Er36N2Njpp— Zeke Tell (@ZekeTell) January 8, 2019 Joke if we sell Pellegrini for Bennacer
I don't care if we sign anybody our not, our first order of business should be to lock in players like Manolas and Pellegrini.
I predict both Pellegrini and Manolas are offered new contracts. Pellegrini resigns with a buyout clause removed or greatly increased. Manolas - I am not as confident on. I would lean towards him rejecting a contract and going to Man Utd or the like. Manolas is due a big payday at wages we just cannot match.
#Roma continues to work on acquiring #Genk's #Malinovskyi: the situationhttps://t.co/2R4DFpC7qJ— Steven Moore (@S_K_MOORE) January 9, 2019 Malinovskyi has promised himself to Roma
The Bennacer rumors make a lot of sense, and supposedly Di Francesco requested him. He's more of a natural fit for that deep playmaker role than Cristante or Pellegrini. It still feels way too crowded there in the middle. Even if Pellegrini goes(hopefully he doesn't) I still don't see how someone expensive doesn't sit on the bench.
Nzonzi could go/rotate and Brian take over that position with a playmaker beside him. I think it's pretty clear that DDR is finished for all intents and purposes as a main piece after this injury.
Monchi gives an extensive interview on the market, #Roma and plenty more https://t.co/Xs3Js72yMP— RomaPress (@ASRomaPress) January 10, 2019 Interesting interview. Denied and confirmed some of the players we are linked with, and said he is optimustic about DDR.
I've defended Pallotta a lot but if they let Pellegrini go for anything other than obscene money then everything he's said is BS.
I enjoyed that read. -Hopefully those who were freaking out over the Radja sale this past summer have realized why it was done now. -Piatek @ 70m is silly - I hope we remain in for Tonali. Same with Mancini - He didn't downright reject the idea of Ziyech and Belotti. Not that that means shit. -Dendocker ,Ozyakup and Herrera are impossible apparently. Don't really care that much. - Fcuk Malcom
Omfg if Belotti lands there with Schick moving to the opposite on loan this month. Ziyech and Berardi would be another hit. Wish we can get Miranda this window and Mancini the next. And either play Karsdorp or get a new fullback.
I was a little shocked when he said they can't spend 40 mil on a CB. In today's market that doesn't seem extreme for a quality CB.
This is part got to me too. We have a 36 million release clause on a top 5 CB in Manolas, but when asked about Rugani which is a reserve at Juventus he says they cant spend 40 million on CB. If you cant afford a Rugani type quality player, which isnt anything special... then you might as well keep Marcano and let this team rot. Manolas gone this summer 99% Nothing will change until Palotta is gone. Until then let's enjoy the show and continue to witness the demise of Roma.
