If this is straight up loan and we're paying for a chunk of salary, I would be fine with the move. Anything more seems like a step back.

There's hundreds of strikers more deserving of a shot out there than him.

But he'll score his fair share of goals and begrudgingly win me over to a tolerance level.

If EDF had that back line he’d probably still be here.

I would rather have a good team, than one youngster who had two good months and got a big head. He's talented and ideally i would rather keep him and have a good team, but if selling him is what it takes to right the wrongs of Monchi, that's what we have to do.

Hysaj is a Florenzi replacement, I don’t think there is any other explanation. He could replace Karsdorp who looks to be on his way out but I find it unlikely.

Is it an upgrade? Florenzi is better in the final third both in finishing and giving assists, Hysaj is better in everything else. Hysaj still have age on his side though and can improve his weaknesses.

He was linked to Atletico all summer but they just signed Trippier in his place. Would Spurs be interested in Florenzi? They must be looking for a new RB.

Florenzi is also pretty terrible at giving assists. He can score and carry the ball well though.

To me it makes sense to have someone defensive like Hysai on the right if the other side is going to be Spina/Kola, neither of which I trust defensively.

We are clearly trying to build a defense that is comfortable playing a higher line, and Hysaj played well under Sarri's. Ability wise I don't know if he's more than marginally better, but he should be a better fit overall than our other defenders.

Replacing flo at rb is one of the last things I would address in this team. I don't think we're at a point everywhere else where he is specifically holding us back.

And I don't think Hsyaj is a clear upgrade.

I would just stick the same with current RB resources.
Florenzi to compete with Karsdorp, Santon be the safe option, the broken ACL kid to be the surprise factor.
