thank u, next. we still got Montes, Alvarez, Pollito and Reyes(who are still in Europe). Moreno has a few good years left.
Top 10? Liga MemeX will always be the primary league I follow, but have you guys sat through a weekend of games? A lot of them are brutal to watch. Then you got external shit, like that piece of shit owner from Veracruz; the recycled coaches; the ugly ass NASCAR-like uniforms; Players like Maza Rodríguez and Conejo Pérez still taking up roster spots; the Pacto.
If we combine attendance, finances & overall competitiveness it would rank at exactly 10. I swear we’ve had this discussion a bigillion times 1. La liga 2. Epl 3. Serie A 4. Bundesliga 5. Ligue 1 6. Russian 7. Portuguese 8. Brazilian 9. Argentine 10. MX I might even argue the Portuguese league is below the Brazilian league. Y’all give too much credit to these European leagues. There’s a reason why most of these countries get 1-2 spots in CL.
Portuguese clubs are scouting Mexican Liga MX and he may not be Mexican but I’m sure Pulido and others are getting some looks Cristian Borja to Sporting Lisboa
They make it so easy for these foreigners to leave but when porto or benfica scout van rankin or otheo mexicans they put so many road blocks for them to leave...as if they're purposely holding them back. Makes no sense.

Even though I'm far more excited when its a Mexican, I like to see anybody leave from Liga MX to Europe in hopes they put some respeck on the league's name.
Ironically a big reason for that is because they're forced to play Mexicans with the 9/9 rule or whatever it is now, that makes Mexicans more valuable to them than a foreigner. Mexico should have unlimited foreigners in league but much stricter mins required for youth players, forcing them to be developed but once they reach a certain age they'll lose that added value and be more willing to let them go, preferably to Europe.
I doubt that because they all have youth teams with tons of mexican kids in them and besides even if that was the case that rule is new, mexican teams have been doing that ish for years and years.
Yeah, they spent millions on their youth systems that they rarely take advantage of, this would force them to. Mexican clubs have always been forced to play Mexicans. You lose a foreigner, that's fine, you just go get another one, you lose your top Mexican, you can't really get another, so what do you do? Never let him go.
Also a foreigner doesn't care (much) for the Pacto de Caballeros, they have other markets where they can go to if Liga MX don't sign them, Mexicans don't (specifically cuz they'd want to keep a similar salary).
https://www.univision.com/deportes/...ebatarle-al-valencia-el-fichaje-de-chicharito Sorry if this is a repost. According to this, Valencia offered 8m for Cheech and Monaco offered 12m. What do you guys think? Monaco is usually top half in the French league but they’re fighting relegation this season.
