Por ejemplo, Corona rechazó irse al Deportivo La Coruña, Memo se fue a uno de los peores equipos de Francia. Hoy uno va a jugar su segundo mundial consecutivo y el otro sigue siendo banca.

I agree it’s a step back, but I also think he’s just not that good if benfica sent him packing. Maybe liga MX is his ceiling.

Perhaps, but I don't think the English and Spanish will be knocking at his door. If he does well there and FEMEXFUT somehow keeps tabs on him and tries to convince him to play for Mexico (again, if he makes merits), we could at least add some good depth and competition at that spot.
Of course not now anyway... Now that Spain doesn't even have him in his radar.... We have a good number of GK coming up. He's not worth the scouting IMHO... Couldn't even land a spot in the Spanish Segund in two year he only played 2 games... Denmark is one of the weakest leagues in Europe. We should focus on the youth players instead... They are ignored. Players like Ryuken, Goransch, etc...
It's never a bad idea to at least keep an eye on him. Again, could at least provide extra competition at his spot, specially with Liga MX full of foreign/aging 'keepers and if he doesn't make it, we don't lose anything. I do agree with the Ryuken, Goransch thing.
If Mexico keeps playing good I believe the Mexican market is gonna blow up, and players start flying to Europe or bigger clubs
The duses already in Europe have the best chances... If any duses from LigaMX has a great tournament, Mexican clubs will likely demand a King's ransom...
L Why would PSV sell him for 22m? They need him to get into the CL group stage and when they get there the premium they cash is around 35 million. So selling for 22 and throwing away 35 seems to me stupid business. Keeping him, cashing a minimum of 35 m and then still be able to sell him must be the smarter option, isnot it?
