Seriously though, I hope those two guys manage to leave. The two are still in their prime and have actual NT experience, so they could be solid options, specially Cota with the goalie position getting thinner and shakier (specially when Ochoa doesn't play).

Viniegra pintaba para ser un jugador más solido, lastima que se cayó después del amistoso que perdimos en el Azteca contra EUA (no digo que esa haya sido la causa, pero a partir de ahí fue tomado menos en cuenta por el Tuca).

Even more of a reason to leave, specially to France. He's only 28 after all and we can't have too many good midfielders!:coffee:

Also he's a fellow Santa Catarina guy like me, we need someone else repping Santa Catacha aside from El Cartel de Santa lol

In fact he was my cousin's classmate and went to the same same high school I went to (but he's older).

I'm sure he could have recommended Tigres players already but the problem with that is Tigres has almost no Mexicans worth sending to Europe. The only ones that come to mind are Damm, Aquino, and maybe Dueñas.

I wasn't talking solely about Tigres players... He could recommend Chucky to the Marseille scouts or César Montes, etc...

Anything is better than staying at Tigres

Well of course he played this weekend (6 minutes LOL) and got hurt. Tuca and Tigres (several teams and coaches actually) has done this before many times. Tuca will bury a Mexican behind a foreigner, then rumors start about the Mexican player leaving. Tuca suddenly and magically finds the player useful again and will give them playing time. The rumors then die because the player is now happy he's playing and doesn't want to move anymore. It's bullshit and I hope these blocked Mexican players don't fall for it. The Mexican player has never and will never (as best we can tell now) be appreciated in Liga MX with the exception of a few clubs. I really hope the young Mexican players not in those clubs pay attention to what happens around them and make the jump early. For every Édson Rivera failure (not really a failure since he came back to a Liga MX team) we have Tecatito, Pulido, Gudino, and Govea success story. The path is laid out, it's proven to work, DO IT!!

To be fair with Tuca, he has used Viniegra as a "safe mode" sub in the last 4 league matches, and has played 9 games as a sub (just 1 as starter).

That's just a little less than the last 4 seasons combined, but he has also featured less in his cameos:

    Apertura '16 = 10 games, 1 as a starter, 213 mins

    Clausura '16 = 3 games, 1 as a starter, 157 mins

    Apertura '15 = 4 games, 2 as a starter, 186 mins

    Clausura '15 = 1 game, 1 as a starter, 90 mins

    Apertura '14 = 0 games, 0 as a starter, 0 mins

I dunno why he fell out hard from Tuca's blessing when Viniegra was a very important part of that 2011 championship, hence he got called by Chepo for the NT, then all went downhill for Kito (even being sent to Atlante).

It's almost that time of the year again..
Couple of more weeks until the window opens again.

Who are the most likely candidates to take off this time?

They could probably get a lot of money in the US also and they don't have to live in China.

Chinese league is like MLS on steroids...

Your average Chinese duse is shittier than your average nad-pool player but their stars are younger and better and more plentiful than the MLS "designated player" most of whom are in retirement mode...

Chinese league pays more to those good players than MLS in most cases. They have to...
