Well he probably could play there, but he's better as a winger or side midfielder.

Considering the fact that he's a forward, Zaldivar needs to work on scoring regularly to even be considered euro quality.

    Zepulveda is meh.

    I like Cisneros though.

I disagree. He needs to work on his finishing but he does everything else right. He plays really well his back to the goal and unlike many strikers he is able to use his body and strength to turn around and shoot. His touch is nice but what i really like about him is his movement outside, and how he is able to set up other guys. A good example is Brizuelas second goal against the Wilas. Chofis made an awesome pass but the taquito that Zaldivar did right before is what really made the difference. His link up game is always on point. And he's left footed striker that can finish with his right foot too. Que mas quieres? I think he has a very good chance of playing in Europe.

I agree that he's very good at linking up and plays well with his back to goal (see his game with the NT).

At the end of the day though, he's a striker. He needs to score more imo.

5 goals and 3 assists is not bad for a striker.

Raul Jimenez doesn't score a lot either but he's rated by European clubs because of his overall game.

I think you like to hate on Zaldivar. I've seen what you posted about him before. You never really gave him a chance.

At the level that is expected of Porto, no. A lot of promising players, but not there yet tbh. Our most talented striker in liga mx is Pulido, but he just got back and needs to regain his form and confidence before he can go back to Europe. Other than that it's still a few years before another striker goes out.

I like Zaldivar, but as a striker, he does need to score more or be an outstanding "poste" or passer to make it in Europe. I don't think he's either right now. And that's perfectly okay. He can develop at Chivas for a few more years and maybe then he'll be ready to make the jump.

You guys never learn, young unproven strikers has been and is still your problem. You want to win the league again, pickup Oribe Peralta or someone similar.

Remember when everyone thought Chuky was good enough for Man U because he scored against Canada?

No hardware of any kind in the last 4+ years I think. Too much trust in unproven kids and they want to keep doing it. You know what they say about insanity right? I rest my case.

Your case is dumb. How many hundreds of millions of dollars have they made buying 'unproven' kids and turning them into beasts. This is a slump and nothing more and the age of the players has virtually nothing to do with them not winning.

And to suggest a guy like Peralta who at his best still lacked the skill to play at a big team like Porto is even more ridiculous.

    No mames.
