2 days more to stop with fake ilusions: SPORTITALIA - James-Napoli, possibile last minute ma occhio anche al Milan https://t.co/RPyQFJL3Re— Milan Magazine (@milanmagazine_) August 29, 2019 Boban is expected to be in Madrid shortly to try to find a deal with for Angel Correa and to also sound out the possibility of signing James Rodriguez, who was offered to the club last month, from Real Madrid [@AlfredoPedulla]— Milan Eye (@MilanEye) August 25, 2019
They put tarp in the upper deck, They usually have that available for MLS matches in which they averaged 53K plus for measly MLS teams. But they thought they would have a better advantage not selling the cheap seats up stairs and it worked. They beat a good America team with a crowd supporter advantage.
They possibly could have if the prices were the same as MLS matches. But as you said it was a cash grab.
i'd be happy to sign him at Milan too. I've been seeing the rumor recently crzd will be happy. Im hoping it will be a surprise signing like when Falcao signed for Manchester United on deadline day out of the blue
Homie is an mls fanboy don't waste your time. Talking about USA has lost it's identity lol, they've never had an identity to begin with, everything is stolen/borrowed from epl, from the chants to the stupid scarves over their heads. nothing unique here, all gimmick.
The identity has been spoken about within Euro media that has seen the USA play in previous World Cups. Like when the USA went to the Quarters before Colombia they were known as a very competitive team with a never say die attitude. More of a sum of the parts than individuals obviously but I recall the British media saying they loved their grit and their pesky way of playing.
@HomietheClown at least accept it is proud and have his arguments........worse the posters that are closet fan boys
The 200 section of the upper deck of the stadium is open. Demand for tickets will dictate if more sections in the upper deck will open. So not only was there no more demand they ended up not selling the tickets in 200. Fact.
Back to the thread topic: James to Milan would be interesting. They have needed a good creative player ever since Ronaldinho.
Atlanta FC has 36,000 season ticket holders. This one off game was not a part of the package. Because it was a money grab as you stated earlier. If it were a part of a package or if the tickets would have been distributed in a similar fashion to MLS weekends who knows what could have happened Why does it matter to you what the attendance was anyway in a thread about transfers? .
The other fact is that they beat a Mexican team with a pro-MLS crowd. And the future looks bright. Which is the point of the original post , not attendance figures.
you make it seem like selling 40,000 tickets is a bad thing. Look it up, only the big teams around the world average more than that. If the prices were as high as some of you wrote, that's great money for CONCACAF, however its split up. Yes, I know the competition isn't European quality but as a player, there's money to be made. You'd be a fool to not get some if you had the chance. Same argument could be made for the Chinese league. They are very similar to MLS.
