OMG did you see that shot he almost made against Portland? It was like a reverse karate kick, but it went off the post. It's worth watching the Gals just to see what the heck Zlatan will do on and off the field. The guy is worth every penny to watch even if they fail to make the playoffs.
I most certainly did not! If you go back and re-read, I was responding to Don’s initial post who brought up those names! Again , even though they won’t ever play in San Jose at 40, as for them turning the Quakes around, I stand by my post.
Ibra has been doing that forever. I wish we still had a young Bernardez who would stop or at least be able to contain him. Our current squad can’t even handle college players let alone superstars. I’ve seen youth, , college , third and fourth division teams play bettter that the Quakes.
Poor babies! Isn't that such a shame? How sad! I hope the Gals and that other LAF Clown laugh team implode!
Yeah, the current edition of the Quakes and LA would be a match made in heaven - they deserve each other!
General question - Who do you think we can trade off of the team and why would someone else want them?
Tommy - for his pre-game and halftime juggling. Danny - could produce for a decent team (speed, off the ball movement, etc.)
With Jessie, we are going to do squat, absolutely zero, nada, nothing... He needs to be gone, yesterday would be preferable.
Federico Macheda is 27 years old and currently starting striker for panathinaikos. Apparently he grew up idolizing Matias Almeyda: https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/f...da-10-years-wondergoal-Manchester-United.html "A Lazio fan who revered Alen Boksic, Matias Almeyda and Juan Sebastian Veron, Macheda was playing for their academy when a United scout started watching him aged 16."
Chris Dangerfield indicated on TV last night that more or newer player will be arriving. He didn't go into detail though...
Good, I would rather have a more player than a less player, and a newer player than an older player, unless that older player has more than a newer player.
As I reported last night on @BlackAndAzul, #Quakes74 are monitoring Real Oviedo center back Oswaldo Alanis, who played for Almeyda at Chivas and has 21 caps with Mexico. #ElTriEng pic.twitter.com/jaQBleWbgH— Joel Soria (@soriajoelfutbol) May 9, 2019 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oswaldo_Alanís
Not really sure we need another CB unless of course if Kashia and probably Vako are on their way out.
Even still, you'd have to figure out what to do with Jungwirth or Cummings if Alanis is acquired. He wouldn't be coming here to not get regular minutes.
Transfermarkt says he also plays left back. And is valued at $1.71 million, though those valuations are just a guess.
