Citeh have Jesus in their team. Gabriel Jesus. And lots of talk and mess around Citeh this week. Meanwhile, Spurs are bigger. http://www.espnfc.us/tottenham-hots...gger-than-manchester-city-mauricio-pochettino And how about this as a reminder of things past: COYS!!!
Yes, agreed it is a worry. But some of that is coming from Poch as well, which is a good sign. I'm taking this as "kick 'em while they are down."
good gameplan by pep. City definitely got the upper hand early if SPurs survive this half, maybe a formation change with some speed on the flanks I'd even consider pulling Kane out wide a few times to drag a CB out & open up space for Alli & ERiksen
Complacent in the first 20-25 characterized by our CBS trying to dribble past attackers around our box.
Wimmer, especially, is having difficulty. Wimmer keeps closing down, but is coming up empty and leaving tons of space behind him.
It's the entire team really. Everybody except Toby and Lloris look completely intimidated. How many minutes has the ball even spent inside City's half? Keep playing like this and City's goal is coming.
We've played with the intensity of entitled favorites - weak mentality. The players performing anywhere near their level are Hugo, Rose, Toby, Victor and Moussa. Looks clear we've identified Yaya as the player to swarm when he gets the ball - hopefully that yields something.
Could take one of Dier or Wimmer off and go back to 4-2-3-1? Not sure we've played 4-3-3 with great distinction at any point before.
