Honestly, if there is no announcement by Thursday, I'm waiting it out till the end of the WC. There are two candidates that can become available after the WC. Lopetegui ticks a lot of boxes for me.

If we don't make an announcement I don't see how it isn't a WC manager.

    So Lopetegui, Tite, Lowe...

Yeah the longer this goes the more likely that it's a NT manager. Even the rumors are basically stale at this point.

Does his time at Porto bug you at all?

Yeah I had high expectations for him at Porto but he was very underwhelming there to say the least. I’m not so sure he’s the guy for Madrid, but there’s the whole Spanish connection that intrigues Flo I guess.

the options are limited to us as none of top coaches want to take shot due to unprecedented achievement is done by ZZ ,

Conte: huge limitation on man management issues
Allegri: unlikely to move away from Juventus
Pochettino: unlikely as he has signed new contract
Low: commitment to the national team
    Sarri: off-field issues
Michael : not good enough for Madrid

whether we can wait until conclusion of world cup this would affect our transfers

    impending issue

CR7 renewal, whether it worth renewing at his age , bale whether to sell this glass dragon or not as we need him to be on the field than in Sanitas, addressing the squad upgrade issues such as a center back, striker, back up to Carvajal and Marcelo

squad aging issue- since we are going to compete in La Liga , Champion league, club world cup, Copa del Rey

Ramos at 32, CR7 at 33, Modric at 32, Marcelo at 30, Benzema at 30

we are surrounded by unnecessary noise on signing goalkeeper and Neymar saga.

in short this season, we need to do and what we hesitated to do in last 3 season.

I've been stressing this too much, but I'm so over this now. Gonna enjoy the WC and then whatever happens, happens.

Nor really. We don't really have our pick of the lot, so we won't land the perfect manager. He is a former Madridista, and plays entertaining football that is suitable for the players we have, familiar with a lot of our current squad, and is Spanish.

Not sure how to feel about this. Way better than Wenger or Conte though.

Same. His Porto started well, but end of the season wasn't good. More similar to VDB hiring. Club man, Spanish and a good man manager. VDB also failed in Turkey in between RM and Spain NT stints. I'll be looking forward to what he does with Spain in WC.

I like it. His Spain plays well and dominant. Don't see why he can't do it here.

Isco and Asensio will be delighted. Dani Ceballos might stay now.
