Hi Mods, After confirming that a face to face exchange in London was not possible I posted 2 x cat1 Paris quarter final tickets to Meior Modi via royal mail tracked and signed for in May (I have the receipt). After numerous checks on-line it appears that the tickets are stuck in Israel somewhere and obviously its too late as the game is on Sunday. I am yet to receive any money for my tickets even though I sent my paypal details to Meior, as a goodwill gesture on my part I have suggested that we split the costs for the 2 tickets, 390e. This is apparently unacceptable to Meior as the failure to deliver the tickets is my fault even though I have receipt of the posting. Please can you ban him from this forum to prevent similar problems for o. Thanks
You want someone banned from the forum because you shipped him tickets that never arrived and you expect him to pay you $?
Who is at fault here? Realistically, it is neither one of their faults, it is the delivery service. However, Sats should not take on the whole 390 euro burden himself. A 50/50 split is fair and if they can get the delivery service to eat the costs, then better for them. Sats has a good enough reputation here to know that he actually shipped out the tickets.
I'm not doubting that he sent them off. But they never arrived. The other party received nothing. To ask that the intended recipient be banned from the forum for not paying for merchandise he never arrived is pretty silly imo
