I'll either be elated in the wake of a successful US 2022 WC bid and this will be added cheer or wallowing in my despair of a failed bid and this will cheer me up.

Or, more likely, I'll be deep in studying for finals and will do my best not to be too distracted.

    Onward, Rose City!

I googled Horizon air and it shows pictures of team painted planes, I think college. Makes sense... you guys will 100% have a Timbers plane.

Yeah, AFAIK, Those are just for colleges: UO, OSU, UI, BSU, UW, WSU. Never seen one for, say, the Blazers. That would be neat to see the Timbers have one, though. Those are pretty well done planes, even though I usually hate special liveries on planes.

Yeah I don't think the Blazers' main sponsor is Alaska Air, but a special plane painted for the Timbers would make sense. BTW, any word if the sponsorship deal includes a chartered travel services for the team's away games? Or is that against MLS rules and they have to sit in coach like the rest of us minions...

I believe the rule is that teams can only use a charter for a certain number of games per year. Two, I think.

Awesome - I hope this is true since I can see the airport and some of the runways from my back deck.
