Darmian for 10-12m isn't bad for a back up given that Spinazola and MDS will be dealing with injuries. As long as Sandro stays, juve are all set at LB and RB.

Godin for 20m would be excellent.

All Juve really need to do is sell Higuain, Rugani, Sturaro, Pjaca and buy a quality affordable CB (Godin) and an emergency LB/RB (Darmian) to complete the squad.

My preference would be to sell Benatia and hold onto Rugani.

It's a tough call. Benatia was probably Juve's best CB last year and his market price is roughly half of what Chelsea seem to be willing to bid on Rugani. He is also at a good age for a CB whereas Rugani still needs a few more years to prove himself.

Regardless, I doubt Juve can go into the year with only Benatia, Chiellini, Caldara, and Barzagli at CB should they sell one of Rugani. Three of those four will likely be out injured for parts of the season. That is why Godin for 20m would be great value.

Here is a man who understands how the modern transfer "system" works. We may not like it, we may think players are "too expensive" but that is the way it is:

    https://www.football-italia.net/124746/klopp-‘fee-doesn’t-matter’

".....“There was a world-class goalkeeper on the market, and the club gave us the opportunity to sign him – simple as that,” Klopp told the Reds’ official website.

“Of course, for a long time it’s been clear that Alisson is a top class goalkeeper, but there was never a real chance to do it. This year there was the chance.

“He’s a very calm person. It’s not his price, it’s not the price we want to pay, it’s only the price the market demands. That’s how it is, no problem with that.

“The size of the story is only outside. We don’t think about that. We know what everyone will say about this, but it’s not really important.

“We have now another wonderful player in our squad and that’s the only thing we are looking for....."

Not sure why we never went after this cat. I liked him when he played in Italy before and thought we should have gone after him then.

After his World Cup performance, even more so. Particularly at the price quoted here. Would prefer him to Darmian that is for sure.

Makoun has joined Juventus from Zamora on loan with a buy-option. Juve have already deposited his contract. Still no official announcement though.

Mandragora has been pictured training with Udinese, multiple times, still no confirmation from Juve on his status.

Reports in Italy that the meeting between Juve management and Rugani’s agent ended a bit earlier today and the two sides have agreed to the move. Rugani is close to moving to London for around €50 million.

Romeo Agresti claims that Pjaca is not in Juve's for this season. His agent will meet with Fiorentina today. Juve wants a permanent sale with a buy-back option, but Fiorentina want him on loan with a buy-option.

Pjanic’s agent has offers from Barcelona, Chelsea and Man City, but Juve and Pjanic are looking to extend his contract.

Juve and Genoa have reached an agreement for the transfer of Andrea Favilli

I think you are overestimating what it takes to adapt to England. Salah was an above average winger for Roma and he turned out to be the best player in the Premiership last season.

Higuain is a complete striker. If you are judging him on the numbers and concluding there was a decline in his play, you haven't followed him closely enough. In Sarri's system, the striker occupying the central role will bag a ton of goals. Look at Mertens as another example. Allegri's teams don't work like that.

Higuain remains one of the best strikers in the world. Ask Tottenham supporters if you don't believe me. He would succeed anywhere.

If you don't want to pay 60M plus for a player the wrong side of 30, I get it; but when it's a player of that quality you make exceptions. We just brought in another guy the wrong side of 30 for a lot more.

Paratici is meeting with Pjaca and his agent right now, they're expected to meet with Fiorentina after that. A deal looks like it's close.

It's crazy how much affection Evra has for Juventus despite him only being here for 2 years and in the twilight of his career. You can tell the club had a very positive impact on him.

    Maybe Rugani stays after all?

Sportitalia - Torchia (agente Rugani): "La Juve non impazzisce per dare via Daniele, ma il Chelsea ha offerto un po' di più di quanto pensino gli altri"

Genoa has reached an agreement with Juve for Andrea Favilli with an €8 million fee. Juve will have a buy-back clause. The striker will be staying with Juve until the end of the US tour since there are no strikers in the team so far.

Corriere Torino claims that Kante is the main target to replace Pjanic if he decides to leave. Ngolo is valued at €100 million. lol

The same paper claims that Juve want to keep Pjanic and they will offer him a new contract when the season starts. The player wants to stay as well.

According to Sky, Chelsea has started the first contacts with Juventus for Gonzalo Higuain.

Juve wants €50 million to sell Rugani, Chelsea are offering €40 million and they've also made an inquiry for Caldara.

Barcelona and Man City an interested in Bentancur, Juve want to keep him.

Sportitalia claim that Juve are asking for €100 million to sell Pjanic, Chelsea are thinking about it.

Fiorentina continues to negotiate for a loan deal with a buy-option for Pjaca, while Sampdoria are ready to fulfill the demands of Juve but they have to convince the player.

Laughing at the Corriere Torino because whatever anybody thinks of Pjanic, replacing him with Kante would be like buying an orange to replace an apple.

Two completely different types of midfielders and even if we did want Kante, we'd still need to find a replacement for Pjanic if we do decide to sell him. And I'd be more than happy to us do exactly that if Chelsea are foolish enough to offer 100m euros for him.

If there's any truth to this (and it's almost certain that there isn't), then we should take it without even thinking twice.

I mean, if we can 100 for Pjanic its a no brainer. We can probably pick up a couple of mids with that cash

He's not worth what Lazio are asking for, no way in hell should we pay 150 mil for him. Use it on Pogba instead ;)

Lazio won't get €150 million, and probably not even 100 million for him. Lotito has his head so far up his ass with that. There has been nearly no news regarding him lately, and for Lazio the longer the summer goes, the less they'll get.

    Pogba's not coming here.

    You don't know that.

And Lotito isn't gonna budge on his valuation for Juve, keep dreaming

I didn't say he'd budge for Juve, but he hasn't even gotten a sniff yet, other teams are looking elsewhere. Lotito is going to take the L when it comes to SMS.

And Pogba's not coming here, there's no way it will happen. Had Juve not signed Ronaldo, then maybe, can't see a signing like that after Ronaldo.
