France underwhelmed throughout and yet Won the WC and to think Dembele,Coman,Martial and Lemar couldnt even make the Starting Eleven or Squad..With Germany/Spain in transition we could be set for an era of French Domination(I Hope Not)..But with Deschamps whom i dont rate tbh the Euros could be wide open Again
I thought Croatia was brilliant and were unlucky not to win. Their midfield was fantastic and dominated the first half. They were so unlucky to be behind at halftime. The second half started the same way. Croatia was dominating and immediately winning the ball back as soon as they lost it. Pogba’s goal was against the run of play and the turning point. Well played Croatia.
Deschamps is perfect for that team - he is not a 'me first' manager and is able to make this collection of egos work as a team. And maybe that's the reason some of those players you mention were not selected?
Croatia played well and gave it their best shot but lacked that cutting edge, the penalty was harsh however watching it over many times it was not as clear cut either way How unlucky for Lovren, losing two major finals in a space of few months

I don't get the biased love for Croatia that you guys have. I didn't favour one over the other at the KO but the constant fouling and rough housing made me go for France. It was a clip from behind though that was their undoing for the first goal. Then the PK. Come on! In one shot it looked like he played the ball out with his hand. We've had less than that given against us. Second half the French evened up the fouls with some tight defending. They , the Croats did play some terrific football at times. The control and passing to open up the wings for attack was really good. That's where they beat England This time the finishing let them down.
