Who do you want? I get the feeling that an Arsenal fan is used to perpetual misery, so I'll guess you want Hillary (if a Dem) or Bush (if an R)?
Those are the last two I want. I actually think I'd prefer a Trump presidency to either of that pair.

So Jeb Bush finishes 6th in Iowa and 4th in New Hampshire but the media are all over him tonight talking about his resurrection. Let's see if Kasich even gets a fraction of the attention in the next week.
I guess the issue with Kasich is: does he have any money? I have no idea how much of a setup he has in South Carolina, but it seems like he needs to put something together ASAP, since the most recent poll (granted, it was three weeks ago) had him at 1%. Bush has the money and the network, if not the actual support, so he's more likely to be able to stick with the campaign.
Here's why the RubioBot meme ain't going away: On Monday, Republican presidential candidate Marco Rubio walked into a restaurant in Manchester, New Hampshire, expecting to charm GOP-friendly voters. But, as theNew York Times’ Michael Barbaro reports, the cheery vibes turned sour when Rubio started chatting with Timothy Kierstead, a gay married man who was dining with his husband and mother. “Why do you want to put me back in the closet?” Kierstead demanded. “I don’t,” Rubio responded. “You can live any way you want. I just believe marriage is between one man and one woman.” Kierstead told Rubio that he had been married for “a long time.” He then asserted that, by arguing vehemently for the rollback of marriage rights of gay couples, Rubio was trying “to say we don’t matter.” “No, I just believe marriage is between one man and one woman,” Rubio said again. “I think that’s what the law should be. And if you disagree, you should have the law changed by a legislature.” Except... The New Hampshire legislature passed a law to allow same-sex marriage in 2009. It took effect Jan. 1, 2010, more than six years ago. Both houses of the legislature approved the law, then the governor signed it. How tone deaf can you be??? http://www.slate.com/blogs/outward/...s_encounter_with_a_gay_voter_was_robotic.html

Chris Christie gave what amounted to a final concession speech tonight. He was completely deflated. He's changed his plans to go directly to South Carolina. He said he'll instead return to Jersey and decide how to proceed.
Remember way back when, when the establishment was going to rally around Rubio? What was that, eight days ago? How things change.
The 2016 New Hampshire GOP Primary ... Starring Donald Trump as Pat Buchanan 1996. And John Kasich as John Huntsman 2012!
BREAKING: Appears @VerminSupreme, a guy who wears a boot on his head, will win more overall NH votes than Jim Gilmore, a former VA governor— Dave Levinthal (@davelevinthal) February 10, 2016
Bleh. This doesn't help Trump or Cruz not get nominated. Screw you New Hampshire; pick a non-Crump candidate and run with it. Don't just divide your votes evenly amongst all the non-Crump candidates and let the least-likely to win guy take a marginal 2nd while Trump runs away with your primary.
Rubio on @VerminSupreme: "I just met a guy who was giving away ponies. You know who he is? It's hard to compete against ponies!" Damn straight.....my Nana had pony!

I don't really find that to be a "reality" check, per se. Yes, a ton of superdelegates are pledged to Hillary. But, in the hypothetical (and unlikely) scenario that Sanders continues to outperform Clinton, I have a hard time imagining that the Democrats would go against the will of their voters. If Sanders were to earn a majority of the delegates allocated through the primary votes themselves, giving the nomination to Clinton based on the superdelegates would be general election suicide. People worried about the PUMAs in 2008; this would be a scenario where those fears would almost certainly come to fruition.
