I know where he can get some. It's pretty old and tarnished but I think Liverpool is the place to look! :cautious:

That's over-the-top. What the fans did do is get him a Major Award:

    (They totally didn't do that.)

I hate to break this to you, but y'all are gonna get beaten by everyone eventually. You should've learned that lesson last year against DC United.

Hire the next Thomas Rongen, of course.

Been there, done that, got the moral victory against Pachuca.

Y'all are gonna get clowned in two different countries when TFC gets a result against you on Sunday and the Red Bulls win the Shield. That counts as raising the international profile of the league, right?

Don't need help. The Shield and Cup will happen or or they won't. Pay close attention to Barco and Bello. At least one of dose two yoots will impress.

Yes, we do. I honestly think we'll get something this season. The chances of a GK standing on his head and playing above his team's level two years in a row are slim.

    That's cold, bro

No shit. But those who haven't yet scaled that cliff need to settle down and try to build up their own club.

Not gonna happen. I suspect we'll have somebody on board with more shine than he's ever had. I do get that the league is set up for poverty and parity (spending caps and

Of course you have. The league is set up so that any schmuck can have his day. When MLS matures into a real league where money matters, those schmucks will vanish, and the survivors will be clubs that give a damn with their wallets.

There are no moral victories. We don't care about beating Liga MX clubs. We care about whatever club's on the other side of the pitch.

    Red Bulls fan now?
Like I said, Tesko's Goals are your high point since March '17.

I can't imagine why TFC would care. They're going to lose their little season record thingy one way or the other.

I just read this again and realized what poor sports fans some of MLS can be.

So we lose or draw at TFC Sunday, we're going to be clowned by fans whose teams aren't in a position to win it because we were in that position... meanwhile, the teams that look like they can the Cup this season are going about the business of preparing for the playoffs. For example: The DCU guys have quit hating. Toronto never has hated on us. See, TFC won last year. And DC owns us. But some of y'all are running around posting about your triumphs in seasons we didn't compete in, waving your diamond rings (under everybody's nose) like we were among the teams you beat to earn them.

Unless you think we've cheated somehow, I don't see the reason behind the hate. And Seattle's been around for longer than their MLS tenure. We've built whatever it is you and I can agree that we have in a fraction of the time it took them. Because we care. And a bunch of other teams don't care anymore. They stopped caring. Instead of trying to figure out why they quit caring, so you can learn to care again and maybe hep keep other teams' fanbases from caring even less, you just want to see the day when we don't care any more than y'all do. I think that sucks for you, and it sucks for MLS. You don't want to bigger or better than you are.

    Please shut this thread down.

    It has become embarrassing.

Either that or take these discussions elsewhere.

Well @Auriaprottu, thanks for putting the mojo on the Supporters Shield. You never talk smack before hardware is in the throphy case, that goes two fold if you live in Atlanta. We are playing like crap right now, the flattest team going into the playoffs. If Miggy isn't back and at 100% it might best to keep your pie hole shut for a month.

Atlanta went from being the best team in the history of earth to the second best team in MLS' Eastern Conference overnight.

This is proof you're being a taaaaad self-absorbed. You are far from the flattest team. Way far. Have a care for the rest of the league.

Seriously. My team has scored a grand total of TWO goals from open play since the beginning of September and just got done this weekend squandering a lead that was provided through one of those goals and lost to one of the worst teams in the league.
